Been playing the lottery for years without a major win. So...
Personally I've been walking the streets for decades and still haven't been hit on the head by a meteor. I don't understand some of you people here. You start threads like this one scratching your head wondering why you haven't won yet. You also act as though the lottery owes you a JP simply because you've played for many years. Nothing wrong in playing a buck or two in hopes of a miracle, but when I see threads that use the words and phrases like frustration , how long will this take? , and

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
@Dracos - I agree with your depiction of how your financial results will work out long term. Last year was great, but I have gotten beat up pretty good this year. That is why I am finishing up my lotto career with the $2M Holiday ticket and the Super Millions - until the last top prize is won in both games or they become unavaiable. (I may dabble in the $2M Jackpot if the opportunity arises) I've had no luck with the newer games and the top prizes are being largely skewed to higher top prizes th

Georgia's Jumbo Bucks Lotto
I don't know about the popularity or profitability of this game as I'm not a Georgia resident. I do play and know about several of the state jackpot games in the US and Georgia Jumbo Bucks is one that I would actually play. The payouts for this 6/47 game are comparable to the 6/49 games Ohio Classic Lotto and Washington State Lotto with obviously better JP winning odds. Mass Megabucks Doubler (6/49) does have much better 2nd and 3rd prize levels ($2,500 doubler $5,000, and $100 doubler $200) whi

The big jackpots have been won- What now?
The odds may be big, but our dreams are bigger! For the chance to win life-changing wealth it is worth the $1 or $2 price tag. The only thing that changes is the size of the dream as the jackpot grows.

The big jackpots have been won- What now?
With those recent jackpots numbers soaring so high, and then starting over- Do you find yourself taking your sweet time to return to buying tickets. Has the smaller amount of millions in the jackpots caused them to lose some of their shine and splendor? Day dreaming a little less? Or do you find youself altering your lottery daydream to fit the current jackpot size? Have you given up on either all together due to the odds? How long until you find yourself purchasing a Powerball or Mega Millio

First thing you would buy if you won $415 Million?
It's perfectly ok to dream. I took the advice of another LP member who never watches or checks her number the night of the drawing, that way she can have sweet dreams until reality hits the following day. Some folks enjoy their Starbucks or smoking, I don't smoke or drink coffee so my fun is occasionally playing the lottery. Odds are crazy but hey we have our ticket right? at least we are in the game and that's all that matters. Good luck everyone!

Lucky for Life
I used to play this game a lot when it was known as New England's Game . Back then they had a 5/40, 1/21 matrix and the JP winning odds were about 1/3 as difficult as they are now. I even hit a 4 of 5 once for a $100 winner. Then they added other states and made the game really hard by adding 8 white balls and doubling the number of lucky balls. That matrix didn't last long, probably due to reduced sales, so they changed the matrix again to what we have now. I've only played this game once in
