This whole thread was phony-baloney rhetoric from the get-go and it's only purpose was to create controversy and strife because you thrive on it. Don Catlin did a good job of addressing something totally different. His article is his take on playing sum totals. I see nothing in that article dealing with probablity of odd/even numbers or high/low numbers which is the discussion in this thread. Luckily, I live in a state where a person can collect lotto prizes anonymously. But even if I couldn't remain anonymous, there is no doubt in my mind I would absolutely want to win the lotto. To make sure I don't become a target, I'd make it known I won't keep large amounts of cash or precious metals in my home.
