I hear ya....any kind of filtering/reduction modeling can be very difficult but also keep in mind that you are trying to filter with missing data which makes it more difficult because it give you a false sense of security of what is actually due.
doubles always fall in the 30% range of combinations..
good luck Z...!

Seven Albany state workers won $319 million lottery prize
I agree with your thoughts in the first paragraph, but not the second one. I don't care what the cash value jackpot amount I take home, be it $50M or $5million, I have no friends I could see giving any of it to. Of course, I would take care of my mother and brother (I have 3 as well as 3 sisters...trust me, I would not even begin to put myself out there as the family bank because 1 bro and 1 sis in particular would drain me penniless). And the only charities I would support are my own charity...

Maryland liquor store owner charged in lottery scam
It appears from the story that this is not the first time she stole someones winning ticket.
A lottery security investigator, acting on a tip, took a winning ticket to Ross Liquors, but was told the ticket was not a winning number.
After the legal system gets done with her she'll be lucky to afford a $1 scratch-off. She definitely will no longer have her store when the Liqour Commision finds out she's been charged with a felony. Hopefully, she does some prison time also.

Special 3-digit code on all Scratch ticket lottery numbers?
Well, if retailers were able to just scan the barcode and see if its a winner or not, every retailer in the country would scan them to see if its a winner before selling it =)
The security code is a validation method, that when typed in, it coincides with the barcode on the back and equals a prize amount. The code underneath the latex coating is a specific algorithm that people are unable to figure out the significance. If people were able to crack the scratch off code before scratching

Why doesn't the lottery allow you to keep big winners ?
Why doesn't the lottery allow you to keep big winners ?
I dont buy the for security reasons not one bit. Maybe its the fear the winning algorithm would be cracked ?
Are there certain markings or codes which give it away if examined for a few hours that the lottery does not want you to know about ?

Lottery Changed My Life Marathon
My wife would have a heart attack if she saw me watching this series on TLC. She thinks the lottery is evil. But she would have no problem with me watching corny Hannah Montana on Disney channel...and of course, she won't have a problem spending the money if and when I hit the jackpot. Go figure!!! I hope they show it again soon...I just returned from an overseas trip and I have two things I want to focus on this year........winning the lottery and traveling. Sure, I will work and do all the oth

Tax Strategies For Lottery Winners - Lump Sum vs Installments
I would take the lump sum.
Just because this article was written by an expert doesn't mean he knows what's best for me or that I should follow his advice.
When it comes to installments I just keep thinking of Social Security. What happens when the State or Gov etc decides they need to borrow from this (your) money. Never say never.......I think it could happen.

roulette
I never saw any of that. Usually when a casino doesn't want someone playing a certain game they will send plain clothes security to tell them they can play any other game in the house, or if they're suspect or known cheats they'll ask them to quietly leave the casinos and let them know they or the uniformed guys will be following them to the door.
I broke in in the late 1970s and saw the tail end of the old days. The old time bosses pretty well knew all the players. We had people come in who

Lottery winner flees Spain penniless as bank seizes villa and bar
One problem was his decision to go public, especially as the UK lottery allows players to remain anonymous; which most winners choose to do.
However, his main problem was his desire to solve all the problems of his relatives; he went broke trying. Many winners think a multimillion jackpot is a license to spent. Such a jackpot can provide financial security, but only if it is managed well. The UK lottery offers winners assistance on getting professional financial advice. I suspect in this

Idaho woman claims 2nd half of $380M Mega Millions jackpot
Congratulations to the winner! Legally, her husband is entitled to part of the winning since they are not divorced, unfortunatedly. In the case where people are already divorced. The spouse should not have been able to win any money unless. the spouse won during the marriage, filed for divorce and kept the assets hidden during the divorce proceedings, or child support was not paid after the divorce and their is a claim by spouse for having to maintain sole support of minor children.
Question,
