Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Reason 2.) Unless every possible combination is played which is 195 million + you cannot have a 99.9% Degree of Certainty...this also means its to the lotteries advantage to print out duplicate tickets where there is not a winner despite the high volume of tickets sold. I think it's been said many times that all of the lottery terminals possess a random number generator for quick picks. If true, then the lottery folks have no control over how many of the total combinations will be in play.

Todd forgive me if this in inappropriate. Church and lottery
jarasan, Not too fond of the system either, but back in the 1970s and 1980s there were so many scams going on under the auspices of giving that it brought the heat on a lot of people. One was the Universal Life Church scam (the church still exists). People would send off $10 to be ordained and become a Reverend in the Universal Life Church. They would delclare their home a church, turn their entire paycheck over to the church, and pay themselves back for needed living expenses from what th

N.J. school board member claims $211.7M Powerball jackpot
So much for remaining a private person. I just read another article about Ms. McNeil which discloses more personal information includng the location of her last job and the church she attends. The press is now interviewing her neighbors, co-workers and even her pastor. There is even this quote from her attorney: Her attorney, Perry Pittenger of Scotch Plains, said his lucky client is wary of the notoriety that can follow sudden riches. She's not one for the limelight,' Pittenger said. 'W

Anyone tried these?
You're right, there are a some folks here like lottolaughs and others who really do well. What sparks my interest in this guy is that he claims he makes a living off the p-3, and wants to prove it for free. Out of all the systems I've either read about or bought since 1988, no one has ever made such a bold claim and tried to prove it before hand. If this all just falls through and full of BS, there is however one possible scam involved here. For all I know, he just throws out a bunch

steve player lottery
Hi there, jayemmar. No harm intended but, I severely beg to differ with this statement: Here's the real answer friends: Because there's no algorithm, or general rule, for consistantly coming up with winning selections, which would show a profit. It's all a scam! There is a way to accomplish this but, it requires time, correct application, and money. As a reference, over in Lottery Discussion, I posted a list of str8 numbers specifically designed for Virginia's night draw on that date, spec

Lotteries in other countries
Another issue I am worried about is (in the astronomically remote situation of my winnning some money), when playing in the SuperEnalotto, or other European national lottery, winning will be through one of these agents, that may or may not be properly authorized by the lottery organization in question, which ultimately pay the prize money. There might be a situation to explain, running against the organization's regulations, or something, and they may well refuse to pay. The lottery agents I

Lottery winner lost money after investing funds
The problem is the stock market is a scam to take money away from retail investors, the average investor doesn't understand what goes on, and investing in individual stocks today is just like going to Vegas, it's a gamble, not an investment. This lottery winner may have purchased good quality stocks, but lost money anyway to short sellers. Did you know that your broker lends your stocks out, without your knowledge, and then it is sold by the borrower, and then the borrower has to give it b

N.Y. couple wins $162M lottery jackpot - but owes $1M
I'm ready to move on so this'll be my last comment on the subject. The truth is neither of us know what they were really doing in the name of the homeless. That's why I originally said if they were in fact embezzling then they should be made to pay with hard time. Let's wait for the investigation to say what's what. Healthcare scam? Why is it everyone so offended by healthcare reform never has an answer for the 46 million without coverage? Corruption occurred before, during, and long af
