No more scratchers for me. No more.
That's my reasoning for only scratching once in a great while, too. The $1 to $10 scratch offs here are not life changing amounts. Once in a while we get one that pays $250K but it will cost $25 or $30. I'd rather spend that $$ on several chances at a bigger payoff. Now, if I lived somewhere with a scratch off that had a couple million dollar top prizes, I might spring for a couple tickets because the odds are usually so much better than the draw games.

WHY 0-4??
What makes these numbers appears mostly in all combos, whether its pick 3/4....0,1,2,3. The key word here is APPEARS, trying to outwit random is akin to chasing your shadow ! The best approach in my opinion is riding with random, some do not subscribe to this premise, yet they go to ' drawing board' after the draw , why? CLUE: Assume every member of the pool or identifier like sums , roots etc has 'INTERVAL POINTS', this will help with a BASE to wage irrespective of singles, odds, even

Odds not in favor of Alabamians voting on a lottery this year
Leadership in the Alabama Senate says there's less than a coin flip's chance a lottery bill passes the upper chamber this year. Polls show the people of Alabama want to vote on whether to create a lottery. But, many senators say they want to make sure the right proposal goes before the people and they haven't seen it yet. Senate President Pro Tem Del Marsh was asked if any of the current lottery proposals stand a chance this year. I'd give them about a 40 percent chance, said Marsh. I

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
Haha bob, how do you all like to filter your numbers? Also a point I would like to make is, it is to your disadvantage to play quick picks vs. picking your own random numbers. The lottery has in place a system that is known to create duplicate tickets since it carries no memory. If your odds are terrible anyway why not be more unique in your terrible bet?

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Very good point. That seems very messed up. I know they redistribute some tickets, but I feel destroying tickets just because they are out of date is manipulation of the game, and can certainly lead to accusations of them skewing the game odds so they don't have to pay out all of the big jackpot prizes. I found some Lucky $200,000 A Year tickets near where I live, and bought 8 of them since I see they are very old and still have a decent number of unclaimed Jackpots (possibly d

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
That's why it's the strategy portion of the game, like chess it starts even, then strategy comes into play, when it works great, when not try again or try something different. You do have it right, apply a strategy, when correct your odds are improved for that draw, when wrong not so much or not at all. Price paid for an improvement in some draws. What else you gonna do? This morning I thought i would try some lower denomination sratchers. Still lost my rear. Odds are simply not correct for some areas of the state. 10 x $10 Gold Rush - Won $10, $30, $50 and 7 losers = -$10 10 x $10 Flamingo Multiplier - Won $10, $20 and 8 losers - -$70 10 x $5 Flamingo Multiplier - all 10 losers = -$50

How soon till the next $ Billion $ Jackpot?
I don't know that many would have learned a lesson, but a lot of people who spent $500 to $1000 in early January won't be able to do it again in early March even if they want to Perhaps. At the time I was comparing that drawing to the 500m+ pot from 2/15 and was suprised how much faster the billion dollar pot was climbing considering it was just after the holiday season and I didn't think people had that much money to go all in like they did. I was even more shocked because of the increased

How close you came to winning numbers?
i have had 1 game that ws 1 number off, and a power ball with all but 1 number 1 off, and the last one being correct. later i was told to work out the odds of being 1 number out and calculation that out. it comes up as 2x2x2x2x2x2= or 64 times more likely than getting the right numbers. ie for every winner there is likely 64 players out there yelling ohhh maaaan
