Florida lottery raffle tickets being illegally re-sold
Funny - I just posted on this and then realized you already had this thread started. I can't tell if I deleted it or Todd did, since I got a message that the page was unavailable when I clicked on the Delete button. I don't understand why anyone would buy a raffle ticket on eBay. Of course, people buy cow manure and other things I'd never dream of wanting.

Some people think $20 is too much for lottery ticket
I agree that $20 a pop is a lot of money. This is an interesting thread, since it really wasn't mentioned when we were discussing the Florida raffle. I almost bought a few, but I waited too long. All the hype finally got to me and I even had the money in my wallet ready to play, but they sold out very quickly. But I also kept thinking that if I didn't hit anything, losing $40 or $60 dollars on one game would be too much. The odds were advertised as the best ever because 10 people will win a

Florida Lottery raffle tickets almost sold out
Perhaps I'll give in and buy 1 or 2 tomorrow before they sell out. I just haven't had one of those lucky feelings so I've gone to different stores this week. I stand by the terminal and try to get a vibe. Nothing happens..no bright lights, no spiritual music...no warm fuzzy feeling. Maybe I need to stop thinking about raffles and start dating again. Nah, a raffle ticket will be a better gamble.

N.J. Lottery to offer limited raffle-style New Year's drawing
Yes, I also figured the FL Raffle has to be computerized. After all, they are picking 10 millionaires and 20 $100,000 winners and 100 $10,000 winners. I doubt if they will spend the time picking the winners one by one. Also, since the 6 digit number is being randomly chosen by the terminal and I'm assuming it's also silmutaneously entered into the drawing. How does the player know this is being done? I guess like the electronic voting machines, you just have to keep the faith that your info

Florida Million Dollar Raffle Cool Marketing
I disagree, I love the raffle games. They make much, much better gifts than scratch-offs, IMHO. BTW, that site you linked gave me a good laugh. The phrase at the top of the page is, The Pools has jackpotted to an estimated $295,000! The Pools has jackpotted?!

New Florida Lottery raffle will make 10 millionaires
That Texas game is a scratch-off. The game reffered to in the article is a raffle-style game sold through the lottery computer. And in any case, the scratch-ff is a much better deal than any baffle .

Which game is better to play?
Probably the raffle. Delaware will keep pushing MWL. Retailers I talk to say they sell very few tickets, which is noted by the lack of winners. Delaware really is too small for having it's own Pick 6, especially given that no one trusts the lottery. Bringing in Hot Lotto or even joining VA's multi-state Win for Life (despite your thoughts of the game) would fare much better than the current game. I would love to see Delaware bring in a game similar to Florida's Fantasy 5 (ball drawn preferred),
