I had 3 for this drawing and I didn't win either. However, I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed with some of the random numbers being generated. Here was two of the winning numbers and locations from today's drawing: 077141 $500.00 MIAMI FILE LIQUORS 077145 $500.00 MIAMI FILE LIQUORS The tickets were literally 4 tickets apart and purchased from the exact same place. Some other results from Wed. night: For Cash Five, 142,581 tics sold; about 87% (about 124k--126k) of tics sold did not win anything (if my math was right) The no. of tics sold that had 2$ wins= 16,346. I like to look back at results every so often to see what kind of odds I was up against to even recoup my bet money. Of course, I'm always hoping to win a jackpot--but I don't have to in order to have fun.

Teddi, I stand corrected, but you have THE wrong winner lol. I too dont really think we will see that billion dollar prize. Even Glorias MM win at almost $600 million was still off $400 mil. Just wish they would stop messing with the lotteries. Leave them both at $1 ticket. We have two seperate games right now if so inclined make a third game with their parameters for a billion dollar game. I am sure they would have buyers even at astronomical odds. Just a thought.

Thank you all for your helpful and interesting comments. Grinding out frequent small wins would be my ideal situation. Beting the game odds seems achievable, beating the house(state) advantage is different matter. I just noticed that IL lets you bet on front and back pairs in P3, I'm going to explore what I can do with that.

Nice omiller.. Yes you seem to have very good and very bad periods but most people do. It's only a few that have far more good than bad days. Am interested in Mike Dee from YouTube's book, but if it just says things like play the tickets with the best odds of winning, I will pass on it. I have been on a break. My last play was 4 of the Chritmas $5 from the Trappe beer store. They used to sell over the counter, but now have a machine. I ended up with 2 wins of $5 each - was mad both were $5.

Tialuvsme. lol Siriously, I dont think a billion dollar jackpot is possible. I think its more of a pipe dream. I dont think the random mathematics can sustain the odds. But if I did win, I would share with somebody who loves lotto.

Thanks for the update on the number of tickets sold, fangkid. I'm not surprised sales are starting out slow. If tickets were selling at the expected daily average, after 7.5 days of sales (counting today, Saturday as a half day, 'cuz it ain't over yet) they should have sold around 122,250 tickets by now. I know that Saturday tops ticket sales for Fantasy 5, so today may bump up the raffle sales, too. But no way are they going to make up a shortfall of 80,000 in one day. I'm sure the sales volume
