Would you support Powerball ticket cost to increase to $3 dollars?
I hate PB.....unless the JP is up my desire to grab one ticket is way down.
$3 a ticket is too much. 175m or 292m odds is crazy. If you gotta play to win,
I'm playing something else.

Post your scratch ticket results
saw the halloween games they not so good - explain how the $2 game has better odds and more $1,000 prizes than the $5 one
speaking of new games, am liking the multiplier series and might want to make the drive down to get the $5 and $10 - at least they will not put anything less than the price of the ticket on any of the multipliers
but nice wins on the older games tormentor - think where all the wins are lately in NY too

(1) The lottery will only charge those prices if we hit HYPER INFLATION (which may B sooner?)
(2) Agree w/U (but, a bunch of FOOL's may rush-N)
(3) Because they believe odds good payout meets their expections (some are desperate 4$)

The Real Reason Why The Powerball Lottery Game Jackpot Will Be Impossible To Win At Odds Of 1:292M
The lottery will be charging $5, $10, $20 or more for lottery drawn games tickets to keep up with inflation.
I do not see lottery players playing lottery drawn games with odds of 1:1 Billion.
Lottery players do not mind playing $5, $10, $20, $30 and $50 Instant Scratch-Off Games.

Can this really happen...
Based on the odds it's easy to calculate how many winners of a given amount will be in x number of tickets, but that's only an average, just the same as heads accounting for 50% of coin flips. Just as the actual distribution of heads won't follow a regular pattern of alternating every other flip, an average of 1 winner for every 5 tickets doesn't mean every block of 5 tickets will have 1 winner.
Since the spacing of winners is randomized some blocks will have more winners than suggested by th

MUSL security worker who rigged drawing gets 10 years
I've been leery of computer games since the late '90s!!! Even way back then, I was saying that it's a computer. It can be programmed to do whatever the programmer wants it to do. If the programmer wants you to win, you will win; if the programmer wants you to lose, you will lose .
I absolutely hate RNGs, and say the same thing today when it comes to lotteries, casino slot machines, etc. They are computers!!!
I do still play anyway, because if I don't, I have ZERO chance of hitting a big ja

powerball sales continue to drop
That's correct. When I refer to being burned by it, I'm really pointing out the average player does not win anything on a typical draw. The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 31.85 which means that even if you buy 5-10 tickets ($10 to $20) per drawing, you will probably not even get the lowest payout of $4.
When the PB exceeds $150M, we form an office pool to buy tickets. We typically buy about $50-$60 worth of tickets and every time so far we have either won nothing or we win $4 or $7. I th
