Take5 NY
Thanks!
I've decided that if I can make it through today without having to spend that last ten spot I still have from last Thursday nite's big win, I'm gonna pull a LOTTO BLAST and plunk it down for twenty more QP lines!
I know ya cant make a dent in those huge odds by buying a lot of extra lines, but I'm gonna do it anyway!! I'm doin' it because I aint ever done it before. I never told nobody I was smart, did I??? Anyways it's The Cuomster's money. G5

How Random is Random?
In a 6/49 game you can get all 6 from the last 10 drawings about 30% of the time
In the local 6/49 game which I track Ohio's Classic Lotto, it's even worst. Of its 1338 drawings only 194 have had all six winning numbers in the previous ten drawings (less than 15%). Even if there was something unique about how those six numbers were drawn from that group you would be losing 85% of the time waiting for that condition to happen. Although the overall odds of winning even the smallest prize of $

Michigan weekly Aug.3-Aug.9
I played numbers from several of your picks today: JorliD-321-Straight, Sully's-as 094, Bob's 116, 091, 911, 111 999.
I ran in for Ice Cream Lemon Juice and my total was $16.64. What are the odds, it's my address straight. So I went back to the service desk and played it of course. Let's not forget the clerk of the day, her birthday is 722.
Good luck all.

North Carolina: 8/1 - 8/31/2015
x2 Go big or go home is my motto as well and this group rocks!
dReno, think of it as mini vegas (Although your odds are usually better there or even in SC)! Dont play any more than you can afford to lose and you WILL lose and some times quite often, after all this is NC we are talking about. I usually go with 50/50 or CBO if it is a double. Al depends if I Feel the number or not. I have stopped chasing numbers and only play about a handful now days as it is sweeter when you win that way

@dReno...its up to you on how u want to approach this game. It is setup for us to lose. Some people play multiple numbers for .50 to increase their odds but i guarantee they will be in the red at the end of the year. You have to hit straight to make money in this game. I prefer to play combo if my funds permit this way i am guaranteed atleast $250 if my number hits.
The avg person probably plays $5 per draw x 720 draws per year = $3600. There is no way you can make that back playing .50

Could you do it?
I can't stop playing.
I strongly believe that are also some folks here who are trying to perfect their systems / strategies for years; 'beat the odds' - you may call it whatever you choose. You can't stop playing the Lottery if you make a descent living out of it or win the JP. It only makes sense *to me*, to try even harder to perfect your 'system', 'strategy', 'programs' and take it to the next level.
Just my 2 cents... mho ofc.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I just ask the clerk for a printout of the weekly winners. Most of them will look at you cross eyed and not know what you are talking about - if that happens - see if the boss is there and ask him. You might want to print the one I have from publix so you can show them - that will help them.
To me that ticket shows what the lottery computer can print out if you know how to get it - I'm trying to find out how many books on average this Publix store gets every week. I don't think there are that

California has won last night's Powerball
Here we go again.
If that's the case, Puerto Rico, Missouri, North Dakota (remember the poor farmer that won up there?), and the other states that had winners never would have had any winners at all. If you quit because of the crazy odds, that's understandable. But because you think it's rigged?
Simple math...the more tickets that are sold in any geographic area, the better chance of the winning ticket coming from that area.

How Random is Random?
I played that combination for seven days on the prediction board and for real and until tonight drawing it had hit one number once but tonight it matched 2 for $1 proving the overall odds of 1:8 of matching two in 5/39 game are good.
That won't show up on the prediction board since winning a dollar playing a 5/39 game isn't given the same importance of winning a dollar playing MM.
There are still two more plays left on that ticket so it could do even better.
