I play mostly at Publix, a few gas stations and sometimes the hole in the wall convenience store. Publix here is 100% new tickets only. They go by the if it is not meant for the machine we wont order it rule. So that means the counter has the same games as the machine. The guy who runs the BP and Sunoco station around here has got lazy and just orders loads of the new $25 ticket and a bunch of GR. SuperMillions has always been SuperBust for me (with terrible odds, anyway). I saw the $200k/yr/life still on the roll. But based on the poor results, I'll stay away from them for now. Sorry about your lackluster returns; what are your plans for play throughout the rest of the week/weekend?

Idaho's MegaMillions Promo
Idaho has an ongoing promo where if you buy a $5 (or more) Mega ticket on Monday you get an entry into a draw for $1,000. The last draw only had a few more than a thousand tickets with the high jackpot. I'm thinking that entries will drop since the Mega was won. What think you? Should I go ahead and buy another $5 ticket this coming Monday? Do you think the odds to win the 1K drawing will be a lot better?

Well Tia, if we get rid of digits 1 6, then the odds are dramatically improved! With 2 digits, we will have in effect eliminated 48% of the field of 1000 straights! Sounds good to me! I wonder though if the paucity of doubles means that we are setting up for another trip.

Thanks Long Odds. 6888 looks nice. I notice sum 30's like to come on dates with 1's 6's and 8's. I'm playing that 2358 again since GA last night played 3842. 0891 and 3527 str8 across looks nice. I see Bea's pet 2059 got that parallel format in the eve stacks.

Every ticket has the same chance of winning because balls are blown around in an air machine and any of them can pop up. The more tickets a state sells, the more likely a winner will be in that group of tickets. That is why you can expect more winners from states with larger populations. If you live in a smaller state where people seldom win MM or PB and you want to win a lottery--play a game with better odds--like a pick 5 or cash 5. The odds that it will happen in a particular drawing depend on the actual numbers drawn, but it has to happen once in a while. In this case the numbers are a shown in reverse order. Unless one of the first two numbers is very low or very high there's always a chance that the last 3 balls will continue the numerical order of the first two balls. That 6 has been smokin' hot lately hasn't it? 15 hits in the last 30 games, 7 hits in the last 7 games and 4 hits in the last 4 games (all stats on combined games). So, after four-in-a-row can it hit again? Actually, it can! About 1/3 of digits that hit 4-in-a-row go on to a 5-in-a-row streak! However, after that, the odds drop sharply.
