Gun Raffles
I won a gun raffle a rifle 50 cal muzzleloader from a factory that burned down. It was a 250 dollar rifle. Ticket cost 20 bucks for charity. I ended up trading it for a shotgun since I was not into muzzleloaders. The gun is now worth a lot more then I got for it. So I would say depending on what type of gun it is or whether or not you need a gun/rifle. If that's your thing go for it you just might be the winner, or not.

Hi luckycat...The odds are are the same as winning the lottery or better...same number of chances for the same money. Except the year long raffle is better...365 chances for $30.00. The Connecticut Lottery Corp. has placed its $139,000-a-year year security director, Alfred DuPuis, on a paid leave pending possible disciplinary action after an internal investigation concluded that he acted with gross neglect... of his duties leading up to a million-dollar blunder in a Jan. 1 drawing.

UK man crashes prize car a day after winning it in a lottery
This reminds me of the DEAD DONKEY joke
The Dead Donkey
Morty Applebaum bought a donkey from an old farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day. The next day, the farmer drove up and said, Sorry, but I have some bad news. The donkey died.
Well, then, just give me my money back, said Morty.
Can't do that, replied the farmer. I went and spent it already.
OK, then. Just unload the donkey.
What ya gonna do with him?
I'm going to raffle him off.

2017 PA Millionaire Raffle With Six EARLY BIRD Drawings!
For players such as myself that don't live in PA, there's a hidden danger in buying raffle tickets.
Because I live in New York and have a about a 45 minute drive to the NY/PA border, when I buy tickets, I buy a set of 7 tickets for my office pool at work. I'm forced into doing that because it'd be very impractical for me to drive to 45 minutes to PA day after day.
In past raffles, I bought a set of seven tickets and received a set of numbers that look something like this;
XXX100

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Played through a bunch of lotto today, and overall got my ass kicked. I'm going to try the new Holiday tickets on Tuesday, but after that I'm going into lotto hibernation with the exception of maybe buying a few holiday raffle tickets.
The pictures below are my highest wins from today, but do not let them fool you. I'm definitely in the negative by several hundred bucks after playing through almost 3 books, and a bunch of random $25 Misfortune tickets (which absolutely wrecked my wallet

Post your scratch ticket results
For some of us, when it rains it pours.
I got zipp on my 3 millionaire raffle tickets as well. I think that takes me over 15 raffle tickets
total with not one single winning ticket in the last 2 years. I'll play from time to time, but as
omiller said it's just not worth it. Yeah people do win, I mean I can throw a rock at the store
that sold a million dollar winning scratcher last month, from my house. But it wasn't me, so it
may as well have been a thousand miles away. I won
