Beware of bad advice! $5 cards are clearly superior to $2 cards. The prizes are substantially larger, and the odds of winning prizes are noticeably better with the $5 cards. Don't take my word for it - research it yourself on the PA lottery website. For individuals on a budget, $5 cards give by far the best bang for the buck .

Thank you dr san! Notice in the charts posted yesterday the top front digit sets by hits. There are only 5 all even sets and five all odd sets. 0022 in the charts above hit 1620 over the entire matrix. It ranks thirteen out of 35, and is the highest ranking set of the all evens and all odds. All odd sets are bottom dwellers due to the 30's being a short set. 3333 only has 15 combinations. In that case, you need to do California's fraction of tickets sold over the overall odds of winning based on number of tickets sold t. Your denominator is incorrect. If it's a single drawing it would be: California's share of tickets sold * tickets sold for N in the equation Prob = COMBIN(N,K) x (Pwin^K) x (Pnotwin^(N-K)) Where K is the number of tickets winning.
