So what would the "Holy Grail" of Pick 3 playing be?
KEYS are always welcome. Whether it be a digit, pair, root, sum, or a rule of thumb. Anything that can help you eliminate one thing or home in on another is a HUGE advantage in all these games.
I LIKE KEYS.
I LIKE CLEAN NUMBERS. It gives you an excellent set of mixed highs/lows, even/odds to start with. Statistically we know this set is going to produce the most hits year in and year out.

Who else only plays 1 draw... Me personally I'm only playing MIDDAY
My own probing of the game has only revealed to me that both Midday and Evening are absolutely dependent upon each other. (Though maybe it is by State: I'm in California, that uses an algorithm method.)
I of course think you could still use strategies that target a Midday or Evening play: these involve the usual statistical odds and whatnot - how long since this root sum? how long since this digit? etc. Those kinds of strategies are always going to lead to success, giving timing and precision

NY is an OLD game ........and it seems the OLD ones mess with us the most. LOL
Still, when in doubt go with the odds.....even old games have trouble tossing out 4 doubles in a row.
I'm going with Mostly EVEN Singles Sunday Mid just in case something normal happens again. LOL

Illinois Lottery cancels My3 game
After the initial launch of plus FIREBALL, we received feedback from its players that they wanted a FIREBALL number with each Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawing. We listened to our players and changed the game so that a FIREBALL is ALWAYS drawn.
From that I'm assuming they lowered the prize because the original odds and payoffs were based on some drawings not matching a Fireball number. It looks like the change was made in January 2014. When I tested the game against a 2 if 3 wheel, I had to factor

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I do not understand the $6 prizes either, the $5 scratchers (back when $100k top prize was 1 in 600,000) used to have an $8 prize tier and even a $16 tier which I did not mind.
Anyhow, the payout percentages for $5 and $10 from break even TICKETS to $100 is roughly the same. Except $5 tickets have more $10 and $15 prizes and $10 tickets have better odds to win $100.
A good feeling to have is to buy 10 $5 tickets, and have at least 1 $50 winner from them, the 2nd chance entries would be con

Cash 4Life
I think many people are thinking the same thing. When you look at the C4L payouts page on The NY Lottery's website, you don't see many JP's any more. I think that's because they aren't selling enough tickets to generate a high enough percentage of coverage of the 21 million possible combinations to produce a JP winner on a regular basis. Same problem Sweet Milly had!
Stan Rose wrote a column in Lotto News not too long ago about state lotteries needing to create a game that had lower odds with

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Tried 2 of the $10 $1,250,000 Cash Bonanza's (#019 #018) and on #019 I won $15. $5 loss ain't too bad, but hopefully I'll be hitting profits again soon.
About those posts above, I tend to stick to $10 tickets just because I have the best luck on them. My luck isn't too great on $20 tickets. The most I have won on a $20 ticket is $100. The jackpots are nice on $20 tickets, but the risk of losing $20 is why I don't play them too often. $20 losers can definitely add up quickly. Winning a j

A tiny hint as to today's play?... Digit 5 is the only missing digit of the last five plays. The fifth play down, 317, is an exact repeat of last night's play, 317. Therefore, even removing the fifth play down (i.e., with today's Midday play), we're still missing one digit out of ten - again, that same 5. It is rare - not impossible, not super-rare; just, rare - that we get all ten digits represented in any given last five plays (usually it's one, two, or three missing digits).
Ergo... a digi

NC new game: " ALL or NOTHING"
I've been watching this thread to see how you guys are doing on this game. It's a fun game, but as I said a few pages back, the odds are kinda high for the prize. Still, $250000 is get out of debt money.
I was curious as to how I've done so far this year on All or Nothing so I checked my records. I have won 88% of what I played on this game this year which is good. I can normally expect to win about 35-40%. I won $250 playing the same numbers on 5 lines ($50 x 5) trying for $1,250,000.
BTW
