I bought a ticket about 1:00 today and played 1-2-4-6-8-9-11-13-14-20-22-23. I assumed the drawings would be around the same time as Pick 4 and checked my numbers around 4:00 and got excited when I only saw the 14 and 20 and thought I won 50 bucks. Then I saw the drawing was at 12:30 and I had picked for the 7:30 drawing. Check numbers tonight and matched 5 numbers for no money. I don't really like the odds for this game. Every number has 1 in 15 chance in the next drawing, has the same chance in the next 15 drawings, just like they had that same chance in the last 113 drawings. All the numbers including 55 will eventually be drawn, but until we're positive 55's vacation is over, it's not a bad idea to not use it. I always play the MM megaplier because second prize would be at least 2 million, and maybe 5 million. On the other hand, I rarely play PB powerplay because the ticket is already $2, and second prize would only be 2 million with the powerplay. Also, the prize structure for PB is really wacky. And the powerplay number 2 is much more likely to show than the other powerplay numbers. The odds for second prize are much better for PB than for MM though.
