They very well have misjudged how players are thinking these days. They do say that this particular raffle is a promotion which makes me think it's not going to be offered again anytime soon. If ticket sales don't materialize like they want/need, then I doubt they'll bring it back. For many players 20 bucks a pop is a tough sell. It is a very good thing from a players perspective. Where can players find lower odds to win a million dollars? Remains to be seen if there will be a last minute rush to buy raffle tickets. I'll be getting fewer tickets going forward, because I definitely think that the best shot at winning something was in the first round. Before awareness spreads, and before the million dollar fever sets in. I think that sales will increase as people come to find out about the raffle. We both know because of the payoff structure, the desired outcome must be drawn twice in 1000 drawings just to break even.
