CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
This is a very interesting forum. Thank you for all the valuable information. My family members have been playing 20 X (1108). They haven't won anything big. We can't find Smokin Hot Cash (854) here in Central California. The odds on the New California Lucky Life make me think twice. We have never won anything on either Lucky for Life and or Lucky Life. Most of the winning tickets are from the Bay Area and or Southern California. The scratchers are pretty boring and its no fun not wi

What are the odds
Part 2 First let me say that I will be posting this in several parts due to time restraints. I have about 10 projects I am working on and to stay on tract I decided to devote no more than one hour a day to lottery. This includes all my lottery related stuff so it may be a few days between post. Now I will talk a little about the digits and why I use them. All of us are familiar with the base 10 numerical system. Using digits is really nothing more than going back to the basi

Post your scratch ticket results
That's IT - That's IT !!! How many times have I told myself this about Super Millions - the only thing that kept me buying was getting that $500 - seeing a couple guys get $1K from a single or two ticket buys and seeing the good odds to get a win over $500 - well I got suckered in again today - told myself to look for a small off the road store and try my luck there so I did - picked up 11 last tix off a single roll from the counter - this place had to be a hundred years old and looked it - an a

Ohio Lottery considering offering a $50 instant ticket
Although the lottery is popularly tagged a tax on the poor, a large proportion of players have a reasonably high salary. If those players want to spend $50 a pop, the lottery should have something to fill that demand...as ludicrous as it sounds. Just like the high-roller slots and high-roller tables at the casino ($500/hand Blackjack anyone? ). Personally, I prefer tickets $20 and up, but that's because I see it from the odds perspective and not so much the entertainment of frequent-play. You

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I think it amounts to about 30 years at most in the fine print most states, but it is $20 to $25 or even $30 per ticket at ridiculous odds. They do offer a lump sum prize (a fraction of the potential prize). Most people who win these things are in their 50s or 60s. The lotteries can take such a gamble with that. The CA Lottery LFL weekly prize is inheritable, but the beneficiary will be responisble for inheritence taxes for the remaining amount on the spot (not as money flows in). It is compl

Why You Will Never Quit Playing The Lottery In Your Lifetime.
In response to my post above, Stack47 said, The overall odds of winning something playing MM is 6.8% and PB is 3.14% and you're saying all players will lose only 50% of their wagers? No, I did not say that. --Jimmy4164

is it reasonable to conclude that...
The question is easy and the answer is too. You don't get it, do you? What does he get that the rest of us don't? You're asking a question as if you're 12 years old, not having one clue about the fundamental mechanics of math, odds, stats, patterns, biases and how they all tie in together, such as the example of whether more people playing/tickets sold, have more winners during the same draw...etc.. You pretty much asked whether a rock will fall after you throw it up. Anyone can answer a s
