Spain's El Gordo dishes out €2.6 billion in annual Christmas lottery
Ireland has a Millionaire Raffle on New Year's Eve. Tickets cost 25, when I bought a ticket online, I got the following message: Thank you! You contributed an estimated 9.50 to Good Causes around Ireland

Pennsylvania: 11/1 - 11/30/2023
I have an idea of why that is............the scratchoffs have higher top prizes especially the 5 dollar ones.........for example the 5 dollar ones used to be 50000 or 100000 now some are 200000 or 250000............which means there are fewer lower and middle tier prizes...........meaning if you buy a book you will be less likely to profit...............it revolves more around the grand prize. Personally if you are going to play to win big I would buy a millionaire raffle ticket that has th

Lottery Post's guide to 2023 holiday raffles across the USA
Id be curious as to what others on this board think about a usa raffle.... Maybe, as I suggested before, have the tickets be purchased at your local us post office and maybe it somehow some of the proceeds go to reducing the cost of postage. This would be a win win for the postal service and the consumer ..... Think how the postal service could take on FedEx and ups with more affordable postage ....think how the consumer benefits from all three competing for your business.

Lucky for Life
I'd definitely play less often. As it is, I only play on Thursday and Sunday when there are no other big-ish jackpot games drawn. They didn't say if the odds would stay the same. What do you think of the new Raffle matrix? I had only been buying 1 or 2 tickets the last few years, but decided to get 10 this year. I bought 10 or more tickets the first several years and never won anything. They were also asking how much you would miss 5 star draw if it went away. I said not at all, I'd chee

Store owners return $1M lottery ticket to woman who had thrown it away
I used to pick up discarded 2nd chance scratchers and enter them but never won anything and got bored with it. I do not recall that scanner number always being scratched on those tickets. I observe people scratching those tickets vs scanning them. I have the app also but did not realize they worked on scratchers. I did buy a $20 VA New Year's raffle ticket since the odds were much better and scanned it and it said the drawing had not occurred yet. Lol. Just out of curiosity.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Thanks, Cape. 75% is a little more in line with what I would expect. I'm still not playing scratchers, though. Working the draw games (JTP, F5) when I have some sort of edge... but, did I hear talk on this thread about a possible Raffle this year? Last one was fall 2016 - 2017. I'd definitely take a crack at that. I sometimes go into the yearly reports to see what's what. In recent years, scratch offs have have accounted for 75% of revenue. I was going to check what the percentage was way b

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
There's a Publix in a town located not too far from me with an unclaimed FF5 jackpot from March 26th... $103,234.... not good. Why do players buy tickets but then forget all about them?? I saw the same thing happen in Connecticut, but $103,000 wasn't involved. It was one million dollars. A few years ago a guy from Long Island NY was driving through Connecticut. He stopped to buy gas and saw a sign for Connecticut's $20 per ticket Superdraw raffle. Because it was guaranteed that there was goi

VIDEO: Road Trip! Massachusetts and New Hampshire Lottery scratch-offs
Oh, thanks for reminding me! I swear the older I get the forgeter I get. I got tickets in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia and Ontario Canada and Germany...didn't win nothin. The one I had the most fun with was the Ohio 6/xx game in the mid 90's on which you could win the jackpot or they had raffle like prizes on those tickets every draw too Now you can cheat and just look up where you w

Yay! I won $100 in the PA raffle tonight
Congrats! Hopefully you came out ahead or at least played for free. The pool I'm in bought 8 tickets. We came within 241 ticket numbers of winning $1,000 with one of them. The $1,000 winning ticket was very likely sold a few hours after we bought ours. The PA Millionaire Raffle is definitely great but there is a small downside to it. Ticket number 00127141 won a million bucks. How'd you like to be holding ticket number 00127140 or 00127142?? I'd never want to know what that feels like. Ri
