Powerball was hit..... One thing about mega with the change is it is not only the odds have gotten MUCH worse but it has take 20 draws or two and a half months to run up to this level....... My prediction.... only 6.5 winning sets of numbers per YEAR!!! This would really make people stop playing the low levels and when it's hit it will be March before another winner. Powerball goes up faster and has more winners. Even second place.

There are things they could do, but with the current arms race betwen MM and PB, not likely to happen. They want big JPs, and people respond to big JPs so they'll keep going after that. The only way to get them to change is for everyone to only buy 1 line no matter what the size of the JP is. But people can't do that, they buy more when the JP is big, and more people that never played buy when the JP is big. Decreasing the odds allows more people to win, but it just makes the jackpot small

I always get the multiplier. I suspect that the players not taking the multiplier are exactly the prey the lottery were looking for, ya know, the casual player that only pays attention when the JP gets big and has not a clue what the odds are.

Actually, the last couple years the value of a pack is usually less than half the cost of the roll. It used to be half, but the odds have gotten worse. I rarely play scratchers although I did buy a $5 Red Diamond 7 today. Loser. Funny because scratchers are huge sellers in Texas. I just don't get into them like the online games. I guess I'm not into the instant gratification. I like to dream about hitting big on the draw games coming up. LOL.

That is why I do not get jackpot fever when the jackpot amount revs up because the amount of the jackpot only matters to the person or persons holding the winning ticket. I merely make sure I have a few plays in by subscription. Then I may purchase up to $5 more at a local store since online one draw purchase requires a minimum purchase of $5 (I like to buy one ticket at one place, then stop at another place the next day and buy two tickets and then buy another two tickets on day of drawing

I should have used the term Raffle instead of Drawing. I think many state lottery players would convert to a daily raffle with a guaranteed winner each day along with better odds: Michigan state lottery: 1 in 10.7 Million chance to win $1 Million (no guaranteed winner) Why not 2 daily raffles each with 600,000 raffle tickets at $2 each?: 1 in 600,000 chance to win $1 Million (guaranteed winner each day) I think I'm missing something because I don't see why this type of game isn't being
