$297 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot raised again before tonight's drawing
Maybe it's just me, but I get more excited by large rollover amounts than a large number of rollovers. Usually a JP of over $300M would have me all a-twitter. But it took so long to get there I'm already tired of it. Every time I go to buy a ticket I stop and realize that if I'm going to throw good money away, shouldn't I throw it away on the game with the better odds of winning? Maybe the MM fever will hit me this week with this new tally, unfortunately, I'm still not feeling it. Right no

You really think Mega Millions will reach $1 billion jackpot on Dec 31st?
Aren't self picks and quick picks on 30/70 ratio? Whatever the % self pickers are using alot of 1-31 numbers which will cover those drawn numbers quicker. Even the 70% quick pickers usually have several 1-31 numbers. If the numbers coming out of the hopper are all 32-75 it will help the odds of the jackpot rolling over to that billion mark a little better but nothing we can do about that. If someone hits it with those higher numbers they are less likely to split it. Good luck to us lotter

Florida: 12/1 - 12/31/2013
I had to laugh when I looked at the first 11 states reporting evening results. My unfiltered 90 number set hit a straight in IL, 2 straights and a box in WS, 4 boxes in SC, a box in MN, and a box in WV. I didn't pick numbers for those states and I didn't use their history, but my picks beat the odds and the takeout anyway. I don't play nationally, I just want to hit (again) in Florida!!. I'll make FL picks this way and post them for at least 5 more draws. I agree set A seems the best

Do you feel like you even have a chance anymore?
When they changed the MM matrix I was disappointed at the greater odds and I feel a little like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX5jNnDMfxA So, I gotta stay in anyway.

Connecticut: 12/1 - 12/31/2013
boxhit..nice call WTG on the pair hit wheeler I got to thinking about going against the grain and playing into what CT really likes to do......repeat Given their history,I'd say our odds are pretty good at seeing 589 combo again soon..or at the least a flip(586)

How much would you wager on A 1 Billion dollar Jackpot at one Time ?
$5 is $5 regardless of the price of a ticket. The odds are so ridiculously high that the only numbers that really matter are how much you risk and how much the potential reward is. A jackpot of $1 billion is a certainty. The only question is how soon it will happen. Just as a really simple figure, the chances of a winner are now approximately 1.5 times as unlikely as they were for the record jackpot. That means the same probabilities that resulted in an annuity jackpot of $656 billion woul

$257 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot expands
The odds of you winning a second prize by buying a single ticket on every drawing are very low. True. You can't increase your chances of winning some money in the lottery by buying a $1 Mega Millions ticket and a $2 Powerball ticket for every drawing. False.
