Always straight list.... not box......nope, only straights. So, 2 straight hits in 5 draws......better than 1 in 4 hits right? Also, 2 of those draws were Doubles not singles. Straight plays are the best way to survive this hobby. You don't play all of these straights everyday...no. ...but when you do play at some of them........the odds say you have to play at least $15 or 20 bucks per day .25 per........ to win STRAIGHT.

Self Service Machines vs Retailers
This is a tough call. Here are the pros / cons of each:
Machines:
PROS: NO CLERKS tracking the winners / losers, which means ONE less factor in trying to get to truly fair odds
CONS: Machines are USUALLY stocked with games which have VERY FEW or NO top prizes remaining. In PA we see machines mis-labeled all the time with stickers around games claiming a game is NEW , when it's not.
Over the Counter:
PROS: These retailers tend to want to only stock the best games (Games with t

Keno method and strategies
This game is played so fast it is impossible to find 22 hot numbers and why would you need 22 numbers when you are playing to hit 6 out of 20. This is where you get the best odds and have the best shot as far as i an concerned.......... I know people that play 3 numbers for $10. The least amount of numbers you play the more you shoud bet. Every 20 minutes the board shows the hot numbers that have been coming up, but that can change in a matter of games. Since it is all ramdon it means nothing un

Feeling a bit down..
Hi LottNick56,
Congratulations on getting a job.in this lousy economy. Sounds like you have loving parents and that's a great thing. When it comes to playing the lottery I still believe it's just plain luck. Some people can play for 30 years or so and never win anything and then you hear of a person who only occasionally plays MM or PB and wins the jackpot. Like yourself I too have struggled with the feelings you convey (and I'm much older than you). I've been feeling better since I've steppe

Self Service Machines vs Retailers
I like the machines in the grocery stores as there you get true odds. We know we are playing against these clerks in the stores and I cant blame them. I buy from both but Im beginning to lean more toward the machines, only drawback is you cant see where the roll is, number wise.
What's your preference and do you see an advantage to either one?
Thanks

Since the odds don't change- is it wise to buy more than One ticket for either jackpot?
All 5 of 5 and MEGA BALL 1 : 258,890,850 Jackpot*
5 of 5 plus POWERBALL 1 in 175,223,510 Jackpot** -
With those odds, I don't think it matters if someone bought one ticket or 100 tickets (especially with Mega Millions).
My motto is: buy a line and hope it's my time .

Do some people just play the lottery occasionally but still feel they are in the game?
Thanks for the compliment, shyguitar. However, I'm far from wise. I just live on a reasonable budget as like most people. I'm a family man but like anyone else, I have various hobbies and interests that could easily bankrupt me if I'm not careful. I look at playing PB/MM as bottom-of-the-list-things-to-do-with-disposable-income.
I've purchased my share of scratch tickets and I can tell you, free ticket is best it's ever turned-out for me. I've have a set of numbers I play for the draw games a
