Firs things first, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Next, yeah, I agree with what others have said, if you do want to keep playing, do so but keep it at the same level you played before, or at most, only slightly higher, say 5%-10%. The rest of the money should be put to work imo, mortgage, kids college, investments, etc. Let it truly be a winning and not just an excuse to roll big for a short term. Become a success story and not just another person who beat the odds and then let the game still win

Post your scratch ticket results
I have bought a few rolls over the years and never had much luck. Usually get 35%-45% back. I don't have much luck buying a few here and there either. Its basically all luck and anything you try may or may not work. If you want to make the money last longer play a few here and there. I think I have tried every way there is and they all work about the same.Usually less than half your money back and once in a great while a lucky big hit or get all your money back.
I made a mistake once buying a

It seems like I have to continue to fight the urge to buy scratch tickets
Hi dk1421,
Congrats on your win of 2 dollars that's good with just 5 dollars spent. I like your playing strategy of not buying scratch tickets if they do not have the exact one you want. Like yourself I also check my state's lottery website to check on the odds of the remaining tickets and to check when the new ones are coming out. I rarely buy scratch tickets from the vending machine. Though the first time I ever used a vending machine I won 100 dollars on a 5 dollar scratch ticket. It seems

Pretty good nights worth of playing for you! I've yet to have a profitable purchase from the $20 scratcher, but I am still going to stick with it..
I typically play slots at a casino and its pretty hard to win money from San Manuel (but their table games paytables are better than Las Vegas).
Obiviousl odds are worse on scratchers/slots than on three card/four card/paigow/blackjack, but their payout potential is much higher though it would take pain to hopefully experience it.

I used to check the lines I was going to play on US Lotteries myself, and on a couple of ocassions I discovered that I had picked a line that had previously won a JP. When it happened, I didn't play the line. I was doing that prior to buying Advantage Plus, and at that time, I had no idea that over 30 sets of five numbers had been drawn twice. I dont pre-check my lines any more, I guess that's because I got lazy.
There are 575,757 possible combinations of five numbers, and if you dont count

Will you be throwing in the towel when MM makes its changes?
Personally: l will wait and see if some of those lower prizes end up in my lap. The odds are astronomical at present and its gonna get worse, but you never know when you gonna hit it. Now,had they raised the price to $2.00 a ticket, l would have taken a hiatus from the game for a while or more than a while.
How about you?

Welcome boy of Poor
No lottery are not rigged, i doubt this every so often, but...certain things come up an make me not think this as well as most other people I'm sure.
Anyway....do you realize there is no need to really rig it...with the odds each game has?! Why rig it...when choosing one line out of 100+million combinations is astonamicaly mind numbing. Thats the rig in itself. But...ANYONE...from any playing state at ANY lottery reatail store can win ANY Prize if the luck is there

$20 Scratch Off Tickets
I don't have alot of faith in scratch off tickets.......i believe the lottery knows that if someone were to buy a whole role that they should win
something, but to get 100% return, no......i just think it is designed that way.....finding that needle in a haystack is luck. i don't like the odds.
But it would be fun to try.
