Have you ever won a pick 4 straight before ?
Unfortunately, no. Probably like most of your readers, I only played a few of your numbers and didn't win anything. Playing all of your 24 numbers for all 4 drawings would have costed us $96/day. After a few days of drought and depending on our entertainment budget, many of us would chose to take a wait-and-see attitude, only to be revigorated by the flurry of the last winners. In retrospective and based on your current winning record, those $96 daily bets would still have been a profitable inve

It seems like I have to continue to fight the urge to buy scratch tickets
Hi dr65, It seems we both agree about the awful odds of winning yet we still play the scratchers. My problem isn't so much with the machines in stores as I tend to buy scratch tickets from clerks. I agree with your assessment of impulse buying feeling like a drug and that's why I try to catch myself when I have those feelings of going wild and buying lots of scratchers. Cutting back on the lottery has made me feel less depressed about losing because my investment isn's as much. I remember yea

eelotto Guy system - wins lots of prizes?
certain patterns, using sums, odds/evens and high/lows. None of which helps one jot. There are a lot of software programs out there that use all kinds of stats to try to predict what numbers might come up. I think that there is some truth to watching for trends. If a person flipped a coin ten times in theory it should come up 5 heads and 5 tails. If you are on say 4 heads on the first 4 flips then you could say it looks like a tail should be coming. Yet each flip is 50/50 but the total wo

eelotto Guy system - wins lots of prizes?
An online review: Lotto Guy Lottery System / Smart Play Lotto Wheels - a 1 page system that says to simply pick numbers according to certain patterns, using sums, odds/evens and high/lows. None of which helps one jot. But the best bit is the hilarious claims of being University Developed, Tested and Proven - now there's a research paper I would love to read ... The standard test that all these systems fail at: Post a month's worth of predictions in advance of the drawings and we will

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Not a problem. It is the first time I am ever keeping track of my scratcher outcomes. Wanted to also analyze where in the roll most winners reside. Not off to a good start in terms of ROI, but I am not too discouraged yet (but probably will be in a short time). I think $500 wins will bring up the ROI to a more slightly respectable level, I have won a good share of $100 wins from $5 scratchers at 1 in 400 odds but like Jon said, you have to take serious pain to play. Definitely I will not b

Hot Lotto is struggling. So will Mega Millions after October 22.
It is all divide and conquer. There are so many games that nobody wins anything on any of them. Michigan has numerous bad games such as poker lotto(coming), club keno, pull tabs, almost all the scratchers, daily keno, Halloween Raffle and the tired old classic 47. With so many stupider ways to squander money the jackpots just don't get up there anymore and fewer and fewer people win them. Look at that 50 or so million jackpot in Ohio...I believe that has been rolling for over 2 years to ge

Yeah, the population is high, but is anyone playing? What's the playing population? I don't know what the sales were before the matrix change, but I don't get the thinking behind the change: go from 11M to 29M odds and hope for more play, when PB and MM are options? Didn't seem like a smart move. I don't see a way forward for Hot Lotto. It's a bit different for MM situation, they're trying to compete with PB as top dog, but in a different way.

Pick 3 and Pick 4 can be won daily. Im $erious.
Even if one 50/50 filter like even or odd or high or low was correct every drawing, it would be a stalemate. Correctly using two 50/50 filters would show an even money profit and theoretically possible to win every drawing. However it's also a bet with odds of 3 to 1 against winning and highly unlikely if it would even show an overall profit much less making two correct guesses every drawing. It's possible to use the filters suggestions by those members to show an overall profit, but none
