win $1 million per day
I like raffles too - some of the ones around where I am have very good odds for the money you are spending to enter.
If this raffle you talked about existed I would play for sure - depending on the entry price point - but I don't think it is likely.
The next best thing I have to play for a million each day is my WI SuperCash - play multiple lines of the same numbers - each $1 gets me a shot at a $700,000 ($350,000 per number panel) cash jackpot and I usually buy a couple sets of my numbers

win $1 million per day
I'm not an expert, but each week, each of the big lottery games add 7 to 15 million to the pot. So seems like there's way more than a million per day in ticket sales. I suppose also that if more sales would occur if they knew their number would be in the pot to draw from.
I appreciate you mentioning raffle , yes that's what it is. Seems better than the big wins of hundreds of millions to one person. More people's lives could be positively transformed?
Thanks,
Mark

Idaho ends Powerball in state, fearing foreign participation
Hmm so let me see if I understand this correctly: you re concerned that other countries might use their proceeds (in their own country) for political purposes you might not agree with so you use your political power to take away the game entirely. Makes perfect sense to me.
Not to mention that they don t seem to understand that the number of entries has nothing to do with the odds of winning. Come on, it s not a raffle people.
Sounds like the voters of Idaho need to elect a little more i

Michigan: 3/1 - 3/31/2021
For those interested. Michigan has a $100,000 raffle on the website.
There is also a ticker, that tells you how many tickets are left to buy.
Tickets cost $10, and they're only selling them on the website, and selling only 100,000 tickets.

Name ONE Lottery Game you have sworn off for life... :/
To answer the question, I'm trying to swear off the Holiday Raffle. I've had tickets all 13 years it's been going. The first several years I'd buy 15 or more at ten bucks each. This year I was down to 5, so I've probably spent over a thousand dollars on it, and I've never won a penny from it, and it's starting to make me mad.
I wasn't supposed to buy any this year, but then I was reminded of the odds of 1:250,000 of winning a million bucks and decided to buy just one. Then ended up with 5.

Lottery Post's guide to 2020 holiday raffles
Idaho sold out early this year, and moved the drawing up to Dec. 28.
I have 5 tickets this year. I swore I wasn't going to buy any because I've played every year but never won a dime on the raffle, but guess I'm a dumb butt because I spent $50 anyway.
Good luck in your local raffles everyone!

Wisconsin SuperCash $$
Cheer up buddy. Like I said, as of late, its depressing with SC and AoN.
ZERO winners, nothing FUN to talk about. I do my QPs and my own numbers and scratch offs, I already have 10 tickets for the stupid raffle in Dec.
I try and try but nothing BIG comes my way, it sucks. I did hit $500 on scratch offs recently, twice !!

Lottery Post's guide to 2020 holiday raffles
Thanks for the information.
A couple of months ago had sent the KLC an message on their FB page asking if we'd have the Powerball raffle again this year. They said it is a good idea, but didn't have a definitive answer. Well thanks to the hard work from Lottery Post I got my answer: NO!
Hey when you combine the MM PB jackpots it equals 333....Pick 3 anyone? LOL

Any luck in PA (or surrounding states?)
Hey GetReal.. Your results are like mine. May mix in a $500 or $400 or $200 but its sandwiched in between a ton of duds. I am holding out hope I got some good Millionaire Raffle tickets though this year. Never won on those either. I can say I probably spent about the same thing year(I don't keep actual records) and only hit $1K twice. Past few years its been anywhere from 4-6 times. Here is an example of how bad PA is with randomizing. I got a roll of $20 XMas. I got 2-100's on the 1st 7 and aft

Watch Out!! The Hidden Danger in PA's Millionaire Raffle
It's all about the $$$ 'Buddy!
A couple of years ago The PA Lottery terminated the millionaire raffle they formerly held on July 4th. Those didn't sell out either and I suspect that was the reason why the plug was pulled on them.
The point I've been trying to make in this thread (but haven't done such a great job of doing it) is that depending upon a players personal financial situation, the negative psychological impact of having bought a one-off can vary widely. A person of minimal finan
