FDIC only $100,000?
Nobody who has millions and a lick of sense isn't interested in investing. They may not devote their life to it, but they make some sort of effort. Whether you invest or not, the only way to protect a large investment is to be conservative and to spread it around into a lot of small amounts. That leaves you two basic choices. One is to buy a big house, put in a good security system, and keep the money in your basement. The other is to devote a bit of effort to managing it as if it actually ma

Why you should try to remain anonymous if you ever win a jackpot!
Jack was a good ol'boy so he couldn't just go quietly, he had to make a spectacle of himself and I've found his regretting winning the jackpot and wishing he tore up to just be disingenuous seeing how if the lottery ruins your life, would you play it ever again? Jack did and won another 10 grand. Then again, he supposedly went broke due to lawsuits and claimed that thieves broke into multiple accounts of his at the same time and drained his funds while in court over his grand daughter's boyfrien

How to Prove Your Lottery IS Fixed?
Doesen't matter whether it was by construct or deceptive means, it still disrupts the actual flow of the game. I'd rather chance the remote possibility of tampering, than fouling the whole thing up. The so called security process is just a guise.

Tennessee - 08/01 thru 08/31/2008
I have not posted on here in a long time, forgot all my info and had to register again, but couldn't resist this one. I sent them a message about the 000 hitting like they did and that I thought they were cheating and this is what they said... As you may know the automated drawing system is a stand-alone system with no connection whatsoever to the internet or the system that collects data from numbers played at our retail locations. The security and integrity of our games are of utmost import

What I can remember from my dream
I can't remember the dream, it wasn't clear, but what i do remember was that there was a complaint that this foreigner got the contract to collect the garbage at the American Embassy on Queen's St in Nassau. There were also complaints that he wasn't doing the job, just collecting money for doing nothing and that the scent there was terrible and the flies there were so much. I got into my car to go there and see and like I passed the corner and had to turn around and go back there. When I got the

Florida Lottery draws same Play 4 numbers
Coincidence, not a mistake, officials say The Play 4 Florida lottery number Tuesday night: 1-9-5-8. The Play 4 Florida lottery number Wednesday afternoon: 1-9-5-8. Same game. Same number. Two consecutive drawings. It is a little bit unusual, but all of our drawings are independent of each other, said Shelly Safford, Lottery spokeswoman. It's completely random. Still, the department fielded calls from curious players. There was not an error, Safford said. But there was another

Woman prepares for 9 months before claiming $8.8M lottery jackpot
Nine months??? Prudent is one thing, but this is absurd. Think of all the things that could've happened to that ticket or even her in that time. And like somebody said, how much in dividends has she lost already by not investing it? It sounds to me like they don't really need the money. It's just added security. I've been dreaming about winning for so long I have the whole thing mapped out, down to what I'm naming the Trust and where I'll invest. And believe me, it won't take me 9 months to g

What kind of STOCKS would you invest in?
If you won a MM or PB jackpot? I know we all would invest in a house and other real estate, maybe some collectibles but what manner of stocks, bonds and mutual funds would you invest in? I read an interview with Brad Duke, who won (at the time) the record jackpot for Powerball. I think it was $220 million and he got about $85 after the payout and taxes. He invested something like 60% in low-risk ventures such as municipal bonds and 30% in high-risk, high-payout ventures like Big Oil (This was

What would you do if you won the lottery?
It all depends on whether or not you are prepared for such a windfall. I have been prepared for all aspects for several years now, so I would claim it immediately. I am not going to waste time. I also have varying plans for different jackpot amounts. Most who win never expect to win, and they are not emotionally prepared to make such important decisions. However I would still live a modest lifestyle compared to what others have lived who won. I simple want infinite financial freedom and secur
