Would you continue to play the lottery if you won 1 million?
I've been In every draw since the game started, even the first couple years when It was called the big game
Now I'm trying to figure the minimum JP level at which I would buy an occasional ticket.
I suppose I'll have to see how fast the JP rises w/the new impossible odds.
If a lot of folks quit the game that could take some time.

I need to help you guys win! Tell me your state.
I would love to post Washington State but you guys don't have pick 4. Sorry.
I only specialize in pick 4. For ex: 1-2-3-4.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Frustration with Smokin' Hot continues....0-5 in game, with 2 more losses (56, 55) this morning.
Same thing happened with 500K Riches, I started out 0 - 6 losses before hitting $30. That is 1 - in 122 odds.
Interesting enough is that $30 was my last winner before this current 0-5 streak in Smokin' Hot. Should have stayed with 500K Riches :/

Mega Millions needs to be Re-Branded
I think raffles are terrible. They supposedly offer better odds of winning some prize, but I have been playing Illinois raffle from the very beginning, and I have yet to win even the smallest prize of $1,000 or some other merchandise that was associated with the recent Fourth of July Raffle. I have also participated in other raffles in a few other states as well as raffles for certain charitable organizations...and I have won ZILCH...NADA...ZERO...NOTHING. So I view any money I spend on playing

Mega Millions needs to be Re-Branded
It's garbage and I'm done playing it. Powerball for the most part always has a bigger jackpot and increases much faster.
I'd like to see Mega Millions be transformed into a monthly raffle. I also wouldn't mind a game with much lower odds of winning and a higher ticket price for the high rollers like me.
From a business viewpoint, I think Powerball and Mega Millions could both generate more revenue if they were a bit more creative.
Agree, disagree, or hate me...discuss.

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
I was in the same type of debate with a guy at the race track who had a $10 place ticket on the favorite that was involved with in photo finish with a long shot. He said he hoped the favorite won because the place ticket would pay more and said it would pay the same either way. My buddy asked me why I wasting my time explaining it because even though it would pay the same if the favorite won, the guy would still say see I told you it would pay more .
I guess this is the place to discuss odds,

CNBC writer looking for lottery players
I am the lottery pool manager at my place of employment. The lottery is entertainment. For many of us it is just like going to the movies, playing a game of hearts, or a board game. For us, we spend $10 to $20 per person a week. We can have as little as 14 players to 41 players with the bigger jackpots. It's really a small amount considering some can spend more than that on fast food, cigarettes, beer, or soda out of the vending machines. For me it's a hobby. I create charts and scour over them
