More Power to the Ball
This makes no sense. You think the economy improves less with a single person spending millions of dollars instead of multiple people spending $1 million? To the contrary. Those that win smaller amounts are more careful with their money because they know they don't have a lot to work with and they have to make it last. It's the people who win the large jackpots who do a lot of crazy spending. Getting people to buy things from businesses is what helps the economy. Larger winners buy more things.

More Power to the Ball
I guess I didn't type that very well. I mean when MM changes, then MM jackpots will grow higher. It kinda goes hand in hand. The higher the jackpot, the more people play, the more people play, the jackpot grows higher and faster.
As far as having more million dollar winners, there are already lotto games in most states that offer smaller jackpots nad lower odds. Why on earth would PB and MM do the same thing? If someone wants to shoot for $1 million, play the multipliers on MM and PB (powerpl

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Probably depend on the type of players.
Serious players play to win every time they play and since the odds don't change when the jackpots get bigger, there's no reason to buy any more tickets then they normally do.
Casual players buy tickets when ever they think about the lottery so they will probably buy more because they will be thinking about it more.

Agree or disagree with this statement...
@ Hearsetrax,
No negativity, just keeping my feet on the ground.
You are a ER from way back
I do believe, that's why I face the same odds you do w/out complaint.

California Lottery Powerball Question
Just a bit to add to Jon D's answer. MUSL generally has a pretty good handle on how many tickets will be sold and how much money will be added to the jackpot prize pool. If you check the increase in the cash value and multiply it by 3 you'll be very close to the total amount that is added to all prize categories. Looking at the state by state breakdown for past sales on lottoreport dot com will give you a good idea what percentage of tickets are usually sold in California, so you can make a good

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Yep, it's all about the field of numbers and combining those numbers into combinations. The larger the field, the harder and more expensive it becomes to get closer to the winning combination. To Ronnie316's credit, though, he's proven that it can be done...albeit at an astronomical cost, and, several tries. Certain combinations can, in fact, be played at certain times which increase odds of winning by a substantial margin. Just gotta have that kind of coin to do it. We're only dealing with numb

Teachable Moment: So I along w/ Rexxdragnn knew that 0 5 would be in the Hit through collaborative workouts. Now I got the Hit through Pairing my Alternates w/ Key Digits. Another way to get the Hit would have been to look @ the Triplets. We have 016x. 015x. 5 is the Mirror of 0. Thus, the Triplets could have been 016x. 015x. 017x. 516x. 515x. 517x. Now when you Wheel 0-9 as suggested, you still get the Hit twice as 516x as 5165 which is 1565 5156 which is also 1565. Now it may seem like alot of

lol Chris$! Same post time! Looks like a good # to me - 342
Yeah, you're right...it is only one nugget, I just looked at the odds table. That kinda stinks but
I'd be happy to find one for $1,000 but happier still to find a number match for $300,000!!
Good luck tonight

Pick 3/4 Lottery software - Which do you think is the best on the market ?
I'm thinking with todays computer technology, there's got to be a software program out there that's fairly dependable, and can track the odds/even, highs/lows, sums, hot/cold, hit frequency and so on.
If that's what you're looking for without prediction, Lottohat's P34 will do that and let you make selections that filter down to what's left. I think there is still a demo you can try out to be sure it's what you want.
