California Post 5-05 thru 5-11
Oh yeah, I forgot.. so is everyone excited and puting together some numbers for the Daily 4, coming on May 19th? I'm thinking that perhaps the number 5198 (5 for May, 19 for the day it begins, and 8 for the year). Of course, since there are no previous numbers to base my picks upon, I will be playing former addresses, last four of my social security, birthdays, and balanced picks of odd even, high low, and sums.
Again, I am SO glad that there are so many talented members of LotteryPost that

Unemployed N.Y. Man Wins $14 Million Lottery
No, I think i would take the annuity for a piece of mind for long term security after I quit my job. I have a congenital heart defect, something called Tetrology of Fallot, and I don't think anyone would ever sell me medical coverage here in these United States where we are sooo lucky to not have universal medical care. I would need to ensure that I have money coming in for a long time in case i ever needed a heart valve or other major heart surgery.
Would you pick the lump sum and why?

At what jackpot will you continue or quit working?
I chose 100 million. It is an honest answer.
I play every game. And would be happy to win any of the jackpots. But it is the 100 million dollar jackpot or higher that would leave me comfortable enough to stop worrying about job security. I am taking into consideration the obscene rise in inflation we are currently witnessing (due to the gas price dominoe effect) and any other unforseen events. I am not good at investing, so that is not a thing I plan to do unless it is some sort of safe slow

4/1/08 Dream
Colors
You can expect increasing security and success in all your affairs if you dreamed of a mixture of bright colors. Individually, or if one color stood out in your dream, the significance is as follows: Blue indicates liberation from worry and/or help from outside sources. Black is an unfavorable omen, unless it is featured in a funeral or other appropriate situation, in which case it forecasts difficulties to be overcome. Brown means money luck. Bright red is a warning to curb your temp

I hope it (Powerball) rolls again
It looks as if some members here want to privatize the lottery.
New Rule: You can't play if you earn a good income and you own a nice home.
or at Lottery Headquarters... Well, Sir. We just ran your social security number and it appears you have too much money in the bank, so we can't pay you the prize you won Sat. We're going to give it to someone who is needier. Our goal is to make sure everyone gets to live a nice house drives a new Mercedes. In fact, if you played golf more than twice

Sorry - just realized you were quoting Stack. Didn't look closely enough at the post I guess. Wow, your last post is very complicated! LOL
If 2 people win in the same state, I suppose one of the winners could certainly request anonymity if the rules allow it. (Never thought about the other scenerio.) However, I don't think there's any law preventing neighbors, relatives or another winner from blabbing to the newspaper. To me, the most important thing anonymity does is help a winner keep his s

New Florida Lotto playslips a bother to some
They might make it a bigger deal if a winner does not use the option by saying what they could have won for a buck more.
I don't know how they can offer a cash option and still make a profit because they need at least $5M in bonus sales just to break even. Taking the cash for the regular jackpot and getting payments for the next 29 years on the $10M bonus give winners added security.
If Mega Millions or Powerball added an option of taking half in cash and the rest in payments it would make
