Would you consider moving to a State that produces multiple MM/ PB winners if yours is a dry well?Reply
Another consideration is the number of players in that state that win life changing jackpots. If 5 million play and on average 5 win a jackpot each year, you're not exactly increasing your odds by moving there. I bought MM tickets in another state at a store across the street from the store that sold a $200 million plus jackpot winner for that drawing. Just being in the right state, in the right city, and buying tickets at a store on the right street doesn't help much. I know you're not a fan

I believe it was 10 duplicate lines. It happened when the jackpot was really high and apparently the player bought over $100 worth of tickets. The lottery gave the odds against that happening, but still reprogrammed to make sure it didn't happen again. The jackpot prize is divided by all the states so has no effect on individual state payoffs. Until very recently, I play mostly scratchers which don't involve number guessing. I play MM, SLP and Fantasy 5 (only when the jackpot exceeds 200K or 300K) but I never spend too much time guessing the numbers. Most of the time I don't even guess. I just use QP. I don't believe there is such thing as a system since each combination has equal odds of winning and each drawing is completely independent with the previous drawings.

Thank you. I agree, it's much easier to win one million dollars playing SM than playing PB. 3.8 million to 1 odds to win a million dollars is tough to find in an online one dollar per line game. I've looked at other state's lotteries websites, and I've yet see anything close to it. The best thing I've seen has been a raffle held by The State of Connecticut. For the last two years, CT has been running a SuperDraw raffle twice per year, but it appears as if they wont be doing it this year.
