Just buy how many you want. I wouldn't think one for one leaves my chances at winning nothing. I'd look at it as having better odds. Good luck!

I don't negate the fact that they do occur, but as you have just proven they are percentage wise rare. You went back to at least 2010 and have 4 examples. I don't count 2 consective numbers as being bunched due to the relativity of odds probability. It is true any set of numbers can win, but the majority of winning combinations to date do not contain bunched numbers. They are randomly distributed and selected via balls. Uncoincidentally the quick picks do not follow the same pattern of randomnes

BETTER ODDS can be calculated over time when 46 lines (or more) are played on each draw. For example lets say 46 lines are played with all 46 bonus numbers, after 18 draws you will have had a guaranteed 18 bonus numbers hits. When playing the same bonus number on all lines, lets say it hits on the 18th draw. You have had zero chances up til that draw in exchange for 46 hits on the 18th draw. Clearly 46 chances would be BETTER than 18 chances, even if you played 46 QPs each draw.

I was thinking about the effect of playing the same bonus number on every line. If we play 12 QP lines, a three number match doesn't even cover the cost of the tickets. Because there are 46 bonus numbers, someone might say were getting worse than the overall odds of 40 to 1 by playing the same bonus numbers on every ticket, but the effect of matching the bonus number means every ticket wins. If we played all 56 numbers on 12 lines with only one bonus number, the worst we could collect is $29

Wonderful post! Lots of great ideas and suggestions. I keep saying this is what this website is all about - HELPING each other win more. I try to key in on exactly what you said about If you can get 1 digit that is going to play and determine what position it will be in (1st, 2nd, 3rd) you can reduce your 1:1000 Odds down to 1:100 without even eliminating Doubles and Pures.
