Anybody have a good system for NY?
try the abc pick 3 system....
lowest digit usually is 123, next lowest is usually 456. And highest is usually 789
therefore these 27 numbers come out often. 147 148 149 157 158 159 167 168 169, 247 248 249 257 258 259 267 268 269, 347 348 349 357 358 359 367 368 369. Usually a digit from previous draw plays again. So to narrow down list. Only play numbers that have digits in it from previous draw.... To better odds. Only play on days after doubles have played for at least 2 draws back to

Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh,
I'm still confident that there is an error in your analysis.
Like I said, using the formula (44/56)*(43/55)*(42/54)*(41/53)*(40/52) I get roughly 1 in 28 against your eliminating 12 numbers sucessfully, rather than 1 in 487. The formula being the product of the odds of each indivdual balling NOT hitting one of those 12.
I see the math you did to get 1 in 487 but I'm pretty sure the logic is wrong.

This can't be right. I think I've seen you do this before accurately, so I'm guessing you coped and pasted the wrong thing or something, but I'm saying that it can't be right that there b/c you posted one winning combo when you use 12 numbers, when there should be 12*11*10*9*8/120=792.
Unless I'm making a mistake - which could be the case cuz I haven't eaten yet today - the odds of eliminating 12 numbers succesfully should be calculated as (44/56)*(43/55)*(42/54)*(41/53)*(40/52) or

Texas All or Nothing
Hi Rcbbuckeye,
Thanks for taking a moment to respond, appreciate it. So can you tell me what you think about what I'm doing. No let me rephrase that differently. Do you feel/believe that all odds or all evens are bound to come up at some point?
What game are you playing now Rcbbuckeye? Just curious..

Do some number combinations have better odds?
We should be trying to filter out losing numbers! I would put more time into the game, but the astronomical odds, and my sudden dificulty in ESP, is causing me great distress in my easy game, although I still do try to locate any imaginary bias when I do take the time to update and look.
Filtering by decades would as spock would say, be the next logical step in this experiment.
Especially if you want to try and use some sort of scientific method .

Do some number combinations have better odds?
They had an equal chance, they weren't guaranteed to show up.
That's what equal means... The other balls could have been one of those 15, but weren't because they had an equal chance and were randomly selected.
You can't determine odds based on results..... that's not how it works. If I flip a coin there's a 50/50 chance. I can't wait till it comes up heads and then claim tails had a 0% chance.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I guess it's just more intellectually sound to say each number has an equal chance of being drawn knowing 51 numbers won't be drawn.
Maybe you can explain how the 15 numbers that weren't drawn in the last 15 drawings had an equal chance . And what were the odds against matching five numbers for all the QP players that had one of those numbers on their ticket in all 15 drawings?
But I guess it's just more intellectually sound to ignore the usual results of any 15 drawing range or the unluck

North Carolina: 12/1 - 12/31/2012
well odds were needed in the afternoon draw. I called it but I didn't play thats just sad.
However I'm not looking for a double tonight Georiga ended it at four and went with two singles back to back.
I feel like we will do the same or like you said maybe a triple. But I'm not a triple guy so I don't play but one or two

How are we coming along with our filtering by decades?
The last draw I think only had 40's and 50's.
What are the odds of that?

FL Fantasy 5, for December 29
Hi Ursula,
I originally opened a thread back in Oct., on F5 in lottery discussions that I see now you reppnded to but there had not been any response for the week I watched so I fell off of, but found it again today. And I had actually been watching and following your F-5 numbers/ posts in the pick 5 segment. =) so do you have any suggestions for tonight?
I noted that all the numbers last night came from the hot (seen in last five) numbers, or the warm ( seen in last ten) numbers. Also th
