VB Program to see Number Frequencies for Keno
Hi Novan60,
I've read your post here and in the Math forum, its kinda along the lines that I was thinking about only I was trying to accomplish it in excel. I agree with why keep the huge excel files when everything should be in a database. I looked at your example from you previous post and have a few questions. First I'm not a coder or anything near one. I really never paid any attention to SQL until i read you post and the only VB i've did was in excel. I would ask for help in the forums a

Power Mega Balls with Three Sum Math
1) I understand about sums and how concept works from reading some of your first posts. So by looking at excel threesums I understand to put in 2 last draws, Mega Millions for example, then number of selections. What exactly this number represent? Is it number of drawings? So what number better to put in there?
The number of selections is the number of simulations for the next draw for each column beneath the two last drawings and is based on the three sum distribution. If you want to see

Graphs in Excel for Powerball or Mega Millions help
I was wondering if anyone can point me in a direction that can help me create graphs for the winning numbers that show the frequency and possibly create patterns based on your input? I am learning how to create one using Javascript but that will take sometime. In the meantime I am searching for excel files that I can download with all the current numbers.
Thanks

excel for 5/35 lotto
retxx: I use Excel as my database for historical analysis of NY's Take 5 lottery. I use it for past duplicate combinations, consecutive numbers drawn, frequency of draws, that sort of thing. So my database includes all the past winning combinations since 1992 which I had accumulated over the years.I looked at the Masscash archivies and noticied that this game started in March 1991 and has had 1241 drawings to date. Do you have this database? It would take some time to download it from the M

Playing Quick Picks Versus Picking Your Own Numbers
I use wheels from this site and create my own wheels using a combinations generator someone else created. I use the latter for two singles or close to two singles. Then I input them through my excel wheel worksheet. I can eliminate quite a few combinations. This shows color for different counts, U-M-O ( Each numbers Hit frequency : Under - Middle - Over, Gaps, Skip Rows and columns, patterns and pattern frequency. I have around 50 days of wheels saved. Three different files. Once they get over 1

Tom Consoles Pick 3
The product's webpage talks a lot about due numbers, due patterns. I believe you can save yourself the $29.90 and just put the same data in Excel or equivalent spreadsheet program to see what is due based on frequency over various intervals.
Nobody has unlocked the secret to winning Pick 3 consistently enough to turn a profit. If they did, they wouldn't share it or sell it publicly. Caveat emptor.

Mastermind filtering
Just added COUNT PATTERNS to wheel sheet. I create the wheel here at LP. Copy and paste it into excel. A simple macro separates the numbers into different cells. Then copy and paste the wheel again to the left side of this picture. Those cells are formatted in different colors according to the counts. The 401 number at the top is which column there coming out of...Under/Middle/Over frequency for that count. There are three patterns that hit around 50% of the winning combinations. The 10 and othe
