Some information about Powerball
Bertil,I keep my own stats for PB in an excel sheet, a simple series of countif() functions are all you need to obtain your own frequency data, by selecting the ranges, you can get this data overall (as posted on the PB site) and by position.my newest sheet is frequency by date... shows the climb of frequencies with each draw with a rolling count... sort of a scrapbook of where frequency data was when a certain draw went off, hasn't really helped in getting any closer to winning, but it is inter

EXCEL Qre: FREQUENCY and COUNT functions...
I want to take an array of random numbers, say 30 x 30 rows/columns, and find frequency/count/reoccurrence of each number in the array.
Not sure how to setup/apply the formulae functions.
Excel has COUNT and FREQUENCY options, but I haven t been able, capable of avoiding errors. HELP is not much help and the 3 Disc Video Professor tutorials that came w/ the application don t cut-it.
I m working on an idea promise to share results on LP, if worthy.
Advice, anyone?

Wit and Wisdom of old lottery players...
News from the Rabbit Hole.
I came to L P by way of the Google Search Algorithm in June 2015. I was already a self-taught Exceler having created Cost Estimating and Real Estate Development Models as well as Coordinate Geometry for Engineering. I wanted something else to do with Excel and the Lottery was an interesting and potentially rewarding option.
Way back in 2015 L P was Jumping. Posters like WinD, Tialuvslotto, JD, Winsum, were showing me things that fueled the Excel Breakdown tha

Using Excel Predictive Tools to help with lotto picks
How many people use MS Excel statistical spreadsheets to help with choosing lotto numbers? If so, do you find it easy or hard? What do you use the most, frequency, sums, odd/even/high/low, decades, groups, skips, correlations, and/or individual numbers? Does anyone use trailing averages, slopes, ranks, differences or trend lines to assist in evaluating what numbers to play?

Rip Snorter, my vote is yes. I think you can convert numbers into Excel. I have some lotto history from CA SLP, Washington Lotto Plus, Texas Lotto with Bonus Ball, Powerball, and Mega Millions in my word document. I have their frequency recorded on Excel.
