Here's an idea, how about a Vending Machine Scratch Tournament
I cannot get over my experience with the Newburgh, NY vending machine. Its so easy to play and win/lose with the new machines. Imagine a bank of those machines and scratchers lined up just like the slot tournaments.
I guess you can feed $500 on the machine and just scratch the bar codes and tally wins. Most wins in a 5 or 10 minutes gets a trophy.

Lottery vending machine
Never encountered this before, put dollar bills in for ticket cost, machine gobbled up the play slip. This machine has gobbled up currency before but a play slip? So I just hit the button for a QP for the same game, first two numbers were the same as those on the play slip.

Same here. You can check your numbers but they don't know how to use the machine i think. They have a vending machine too they say to play the m on the vending machine. Once it twice i got someone to punch in numbers in the beginning. I think I bought a scratch off once. I don't bother i just look at it like it's there.

Thieves stole California Lottery vending machine
Investigators from the California Lottery are asking for the public's help in locating suspects who broke into a Lucky grocery store in Fremont over the weekend and made off with a Scratchers vending machine.
The thieves broke into the store, which is located on the 40000 block of Mission Boulevard, about 3 a.m. on Saturday.
Police located the vending machine a few hours later just a couple blocks from the store location. Most of the cash had already been removed from the machine before th

Does anyone have luck with vending machines for scratch tickets?
Hi,
I'm just wondering how many people have had much luck when it comes to buying scratch off tickets from a vending machine? I have not had much luck with vending machines. There was one time about 3 years ago that I won 100 dollars on a 5 dollar scratch ticket from a vending machine. When I buy scratchers I tend to not use the vending machines because you can't see the ticket number in a machine. I have gone back and forth about caring about the number on a scratch ticket. There was a time

Lottery vending machine almost gave me a problem
Yesterday I went to get the tickets for my lottery pool and some for myself and I decided to use the vending machine at a supermarket I was going to. I put $52 in it and it wouldn't take my playslips or quick picks, it would only sell me scratch offs. I talked to a store employee and was told it could have been the bad weather(very cloudy and lightening, but no rain). She couldn't help me, but tried to get someone who could. The other person couldn't, so she went to find a manager.

Louisiana Lottery Vending Machine
Today I saw something I hadn't seen in Louisiana before, a lottery vending machine. I know they've been in use in other states for a long time, but not in Louisiana.
I saw one today being installed at the Albertson's supermarket on Government Street in Baton Rouge. I spoke to the people putting in the machine and was told it was the first one in the state. It sold Scratch Offs, Powerball, Lotto, Pick 3, 4, Easy 5, and MegaMillions. It can also check tickets up to $25. I thought it was pret

Vending Machine vs. Counter Scratchers
I've never used a lottery vending machine. Too many bad experiences with vending machines in general so avoid them when I can.
There is a lotto vending machine in the grocery store I frequent and I've often wondered if you buy a ticket from it and it wins under $600, will the machine cash it out for you? I've never witnessed a cashier there cashing out a lotto ticket. Do you have to take it to another lottery retailer?

California Lottery vending machine stolen and dumped on the side of the road
I do believe that there was NOT a lot of money in that vending machine. California has more lottery vending machines in more locations than any other state in the US. So it stands to reason that there was not a lot of money in the machine, just money from the people in that neighborhood. Besides most machines are now able to accept credit and debit cards so that also cuts down on a lot of cash being in them.
