Money can't buy you happines
But Coin. I cant exactly agree with this one. I think that might apply only to those kinds of people. My misery comes from not knowing the finanical future I will have when i can no longer work. It also comes from having my ventures fall apart as i'm trying to secure a future. I don't need that fancy stuff. (looks at posts on what I would buy) but my fear is I will get to a time when I can't work and wont be able to sustain. My savings, like most americans, wont cut it. So yes, money can't b

Kanu Heart Foundation Lottery
If you didn't enter a contest, you can't possible win it. Also, no lottery contacts you directly. It is always up to the player to buy the ticket and then look up the winning numbers. (as far as I know) I've never heard of any lottery where the state or country calls the player. Even if you think a contest of some kind is legitimate, and the Nigerian ones are scams, you still need to be careful. Never furnish anyone with your personal information like your social security number and date of b

Is the Lottery rigged ? Read this ...
I've read enough about ball drop drawings to firmly believe they're as tamper proof as you can get due to security precautions and the way they're handled. Do some research and you'll probably turn up some enlightening information. When it comes to RNG drawings then all conspiracy theories hold credence in my opinon due to an astute computer programmer being able to tweak software to produce those un-played or under-played combinations. RNG drawings are held behind doors closed to the public

Contractors steal $70,000 in lottery prize money
Computer system breached; technicians printed bogus tickets, investigators allege D.C. officials were told last year that lax enforcement of security procedures made it possible for a handful of contract employees to steal tens of thousands of dollars in lottery tickets and prize money, according to records released this week in response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed with the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board. An investigation conducted by Battelle Memorial I

Million Dollar Raffles
I agree with Todd that your financial status following a million dollar win depends on your current situation. Some people who are comfortable will have a net worth of well over a $1M, especially if they've paid off their major debts like a mortgage, college loans, etc. However, I also agree with Coin Toss. If you have lots of credit card debt, a large mortgage payment, a car payment, medical bills, college tuition, etc., you can pay off those debts with your new fortune and be able to enjoy

NC pre-test drawings
I e-mailed the NC Lottery and asked if they conducted pre-test drawings and this is the answer I received. Thought maybe I'd share it in case anyone want to view a live drawing. Yes, we test the machines and ball sets each night before and after each drawing. For information on how to view a live drawing, you can call our Security Department and speak with Ms. Trish Coman at 919-301-3300. Thank you for your interest in the NC Education Lottery.

The 5 year countdown has begun, 12-21-2012
No i do not have proof i found out on the Internet by typing Mayan calender. There are many near earth asteroids. Supposedly that asteroid has already passed earth. Our government would never tell us far in advance of such and event that might cause the demise of our species. It will only be broadcast when it's been discovered by by some amateurish astronomer who will leak it to the press. Total world wide chaos will ensue. You wouldn't need social security but you might want to find a friend wh

'Infrequent buyer' claims $34M Powerball lottery jackpot
In fact, not only do I agree with you, but LuckyLry proves that we all have a right to remain anonymous. As far as owing money or child support, the state always runs a person's social security number before giving him/her a penny. You don't get the money the day you walk into the lottery office. A criminal and credit background is done. If you owe child support you are in violation of the law. If you have unpaid traffic tickets, or haven't paid a judgment, that money will be paid to yo

need some advice-antivirus
If i can just add my two cents. I got called to clean out a friends computer about three days ago and found adaware and hijackthis to be extremely helpful but i always use those tools. CWShredder is another one. I ran across one particular hack called Purityscan that poses as a security or virus protection suite that i couldnt remove yet(i get frustrated easy lol) and it kept seeding itself in the machine after every wipe. So yes Hijackthis is still a free service and there are sites out there t
