Do some number combinations have better odds?
Excellent point Stack,
I hate reducing 98.280 lines down to 41, but it is 40 times BETTER ODDS than playing 41 QPs.
Im still very interested in testing, and eventually playing the 4 if 4 of 28 wheel.

Post your scratch ticket results
Hey James - boy that stinks - 25X and $2 under it. I'm trying to remember - it seems when a new ticket comes out I'd wait a few weeks and then buy a bunch. Can't recall any ticket I bought first day out that was worth much. You got lucky with that $500 - I'm sure someone someplace will get a big one in a few days - but the odds are slim. Look at GRT - I've been lucky getting nuggets/$500 - the game is over a year old and still kicking out $500K. I got skunked real bad on Millionaire ........ out

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Thanks for posting your book results on this new game, I haven't seen any of these Monopoly yet in my stores, maybe tomorrow.
I don't usually buy books, because you only have like a 1-in-10 to 1-in-20 odds of turning a profit. And since minimum pack return is around 40-50%, thats a big hit all at once. You got pretty decent with 65% return. But since you are playing more, you are also more likely to get bigger wins.
But best of luck to you on future books!

Why do people give away their lottery system?
I didn't have time to read all eleven pages of this thread, but I can sum up what I did read into two statements:
1. No matter how much we analyze, no matter how we break the numbers down, and no matter how much money we spend putting our ideas to use, the odds of winning that elusive, life-changing jackpot will always be the same - 1 in 176 million.
2. It's funny because while we as lottery analysts crunch numbers down and put our minds into hitting the big one, it's mostly those who DON'

Mega-millions settings and suggestions for Digit Master.
Now you are agreeing that 100k lines with 5 of 5 would be impressive?? What happened to doing it with 300 lines?? Never mind..... it doesn't matter because the whole point is to START with a group that has 5 of 5 and then reduce it.....
What good does it do to reduce a group that doesnt have 5 of 5 to START with???? It does no good whatsoever and is an act of futility........
Show me a group that STARTS with 5 of 5 and you will have my attention, even if it is 100k lines..... That's 38 ti

Mega-millions settings and suggestions for Digit Master.
Ronnie
For a normal pool I suppose that would be the norm but this pool was formed in the belief that DM offers
a better way to play. The methods you subscribe to are not all that different then what we are working
on for pool play. Selecting 5 or so groups to play sets the stage so to say and gives us our base numbers.
I have used this method with much success for my 5-39 and hit many 4of5's. These are the ones where
I had the tickets in my hand and not paper plays. This is scatt

Mega-millions settings and suggestions for Digit Master.
I'm not part of this pool RL but it seems to me the whole idea of a pool would be to play a large enough number of lines to give a verifiable statistical advantage.......
The example I have been working on for several months is the MM 5/56 game where 98,280 lines reduces the odds from 1 in 3.8 million to 1 in 39. Because 98,280 lines are too many to play... even for a pool, a 4 if 4 wheel can be used to reduce the number of lines down to 4931.
Using this method took me 18 draws to hit 5

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Very interesting RJOh,
If any random set of 28 has a 2.6 chance of hitting 5 of 5, and the previous 28 drawn numbers has a 3.4 chance of hitting 5 of 5..............
I think you just made a case that:
SOME NUMBER COMBINATIONS HAVE BETTER ODDS.

$174 MILLION: Tomorrow's Powerball lottery jackpot red hot
Speaking of the crazy odds, I read this one recently from another article and it just cracks me up:
...a person who drives 10 miles to buy a Powerball ticket is 16 times more likely to die in a car crash than to win the big jackpot.
I'm still convinced I'm gonna hit the jackpot though dammit!!! LOL!!

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Thanks RJ. Did I do this right?
Combin(28,5) = 98,280
The 2 of 28 wheel here on LP is 41 lines so Ihave 1/2,397 odds of 5, 1 in 499 for 4 and 1 in 80 to hit 3 when all 5 are in my 28 wheel numbers? I'm shocked it's only 1 in 80 to get three when all 5 arepicked correctly. That seems pretty horrible
