There might be people that over a number of years that have cashed 2000 straight tickets, but they probably spent over 900k. For somebody to actually make a profit of over a million playing the pick-3, it would most likely be a 3 or 4 bet parlay. They would have to be very lucky to do that playing pick-4 too and they would have to pay taxes and it's more likely that someone might make one $200 bet on a whim than somebody betting $2000. I have lost money in Powerball in the long run. Lotto five averages out... 3/5 keeps you playing with their money. Pick 3/ pick 4 one can make a profit.. Just find that golden system and stick with it.

How does it backtest against the entire draw history of your state? The system I created won 51 of the possible 10,500 Pennsylvania evening pick 3 draws. that's slightly less than one-half of one percent. BUT if I would have played that one number for $1 st. since day one, I would be up by $15,000 after recovering the cost to play. Thank you, and good luck to you also. There are usually three (3) target numbers that I like to go after, yesterday we got one with 4-7-1 in the evening game in Kentucky. Playing that number straight in all states even produced a net profit along with the other two pick-3 numbers. While there is no guarantee that any of the numbers will fall, we are doing quite well in the pick-3 game showing a profit using this system. Good luck to you and have a great Labor Day Weekend. I could had tried to develop a one number for draw system that might make or not a profit on the long run, but that would mean that I would had to look and study the stats of the whole pick 3 numbers themseves besides that of the other patterns that they have, I would had to look at stats of whole 3 digit pick 3 numbers of thousands of draws, not something that I would like to do. By the way, there is a whole book or two of my filters posts here at LP if you can't find the stuff on your drive
