N.Y. couple wins $162M lottery jackpot - but owes $1M
The guy from Tennessee didn't sell out. In fact, Tennessee is opting out of the healthcare scam and has asserted it's sovereignty to the federal government recently.
I know the real world works with wheeling and dealing but usually with your own money; not money confiscated from others in pursuit of things they object to.
And if this corruption continues after I'm pushing up daisies it'll be because of the apathy and complacency it requires from a lazy populace willing to look the other wa

N.Y. couple wins $162M lottery jackpot - but owes $1M
Nino, how about we hold the government crooks to the same standard for fleecing us? All the way down (up) the dadgum line! Let's make them weasels abide by the same laws and burdens they put on us. Do you think it's right that they can fine and imprison you for not buying government insurance when they exempt themselves from the same law? Why do they get the right to refuse it and not us? Do you approve of that?
Do you think it's right that they do all their legislating in secret and pass leg

For the Millionth Time...
Madoff wasn't the first person to pull this sort of thing, it's just a variation of an old, scam. The Ponzi version of the scheme has been happening for a very, very long time he's just the most recent and currently well known example because of how much money he suckered out of people. You know why people got screwed by Madoff? They were suckers who were far to trusting and hands off with their money.
Take a current advertised jackpot (Mega Millions at 105M/67M for this example) and see w

man and woman who approached me with million dollar scratchoff
Anything can do anything to any person. I don't like carrots. It doesnt mean I have to puke whenever I see the color orange.
But I thought I had read this earlier post where you originally talked about this story...and I think I remember someone hinting it may have been a scam. Maybe they remembered your face and had a quick chat Honey don't look it's that guy we thought about scamming. If we act like he's not there maybe he won't be on to us I dunno.
But then again you did say the were o

Those who suffered the "curse" of the lottery:
I'm not superstitious so I don't believe in curses.....I think the Curse of the Lottery is a made up line by Media who want to make an interesting story.
To avoid problems :
Avoid Media exposure as much as possible(would be easier with small jackpot then huge Mega Jackpot).
Avoid Friends that suddenly appear when you've won the money...Also New Girl/Boy Friends that appear.. ie GoldDiggers.
Avoid Making rash financial decisions..Anyone who offers you an unbelievable return on you

Try something differant!!
* wheels (too expensive)
No, wheels are your best friends when comes to lottery, it is not expensive one can wheel a full set of numbers produced with the number pools (8 numbers for pick 6 produces 28 combos) and reduced down to a few combos through filtering.
* filtering (great fun but too destructive)
Destructive to the non winning combos. It filters out allowing one to minimize the cost, and to optimize the winning. If no filtering then it would be expensive playing all combos. Th

Pick 3/4 Business Partner
Matchmaker, why not just post a few numbers and be done with the whole thing? Seriously. You may end some of the skeptism if you just post a few of your numbers and prove the your program works. It's that simple. You keep arguing with members about this and that and if you just post a few numbers and show that your program can win something, you will probably have many members wanting to actually deal with you.
Right now, you are just spouting that you have the next best thing with this syste

Elderly $144M Powerball lottery winner shows right way to claim jackpot
I have several issues with this article.
First is the comment, The move frustrates reporters in the media seeking to reveal his personal story, but safeguards his identity, which would be compromised once he is known to the world. The phrasing conjures images of legions of evil reporters huddled in an underground lair, wringing their hands and muttering, Curses! Foiled again!!! Why does the media place so much importance on shoving their noses where they clearly do not belong? One could ar

Sex offender wins Alaska lottery that aids sex abuse victims
IF his conviction was of the lessor type, such as flashing a minor he deserves, and needs help, no different than someone who cross-dresses.
What don't people here understand about the word REPEAT? The man was convicted 3 times!
Ahsoak has three convictions for sexual abuse of a minor 2 on his record.
I don't feel like elaborating too much, because I might say something I shouldn't. However, when there's a news article about a lottery scam, everyone always says that the thieves
