Do some number combinations have better odds?
The numbers 1,2,3,4,5 are in 38.5% of all the five number MM combos as are any other five numbers including a number or numbers from the previous drawing. Don't know how much it would improve the odds of any 28 numbers by excluding the five previously drawn numbers, but the probability is that none of them will be repeat 64 drawings a year.
The reason RJ's figures are almost are almost 2% higher is because those figures are based on only 733 possible outcomes and mine are based on almost 4 mi

Lottery pools good or bad?
You seem to be yet another LP poster who hasn't researched his subject but decide to post and just make up some facts.
First, most lottery jackpots are won by individuals and second, there once were laws allowing only one person to collect on a winning ticket even when the ticket was brought by a group which made paying the taxes a real head ache for the winners but a lawyer's dream. It has only been in the last ten years or so that states changed their laws to allow groups to claim winning t

What kind of car would you get?
This is an old man talking:
A classic car would be nice as a toy. I would tend to want a real old one, and not necessarily a sport model either. But hey, of course, the house and investment thing would have to be addressed and secure first. A mil is just enough to blow before you realize it. A car costing 100K is just plain foolish, sorry. You can rent that for a weekend thrill out on the Bonneville Salt Flats or something. For an everyday car, an SUV or crossover vehicle with good safety rat

MM jackpot $47M/$36.1M and PB jackpot $50M/$33.3
What they are counting on is a super huge (record or near record) jackpot.
They're certainly hoping for that, but my guess is that they're simply counting on things evening out in the long run, and probability is on their side. The 7 jackpots since the price increase have averaged $142.7 million, so the ones that came up short are being offset by the big ones that had high sales.
I don't know how this compares to what they hoped for, but they're doing better than they were at $1 per tick

Can It Be Done??
Maybe someone from this site will pull it off next week. Such a person would achieve instant stardom and fame in the lottery world, and probably
be on circuit for talk shows for the next 5 years. Who cares if it's 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

Pennsylvania still has winners out there!
That's not so bad...I've snagged some good prizes in the past at worse odds than that. 1/12,000, 1/6,000, 1/3,000
omg...I'm sick right now...just had a chance to see the new $2 ticket. Yellow... Aw, now, that's just not going to work for me.
If this turns out to be one of the games that gets extended due to 'popularity' among players, I'll be surprised.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Ronnie, odds and number count NEVER LIE, okay. You can sit down and go over all the data yourself regarding the 200 lines and find a reasonable resolve on your own. In the end, though, unless you're lucky it's just not going to pan out and be profitable. Listen, (200) lines will produce a strategic 3+0 win which you can pretty much depend on...that's only $400 @ $2 per line. Not a lot of numbers by any means at all for this game...a drop in the bucket unless you're lucky. I would definitely thin

Do some number combinations have better odds?
First, I don't have a super duper system. What I have is a lottery program that I wrote myself that analyze past drawings better than most and I use the information to pick combinations I play, hopefully improving my odds of winning.
My standard membership has been upgraded twice in the past, each time by two generous LP members who are still active today. I probably disappointed my sponsors both times as I failed to take advantage of the chance to post 50 predictions per drawings both times.
