Introduction
Hey Lottio, if you are willing to lay down a few hundred bucks a month you should do what I did and put it in a separate savings account every month and after 5 years you will have around $15,000. There is your winner right there. I feel like I won a JP and I can spend it on anything I want. My first thought was to buy tickets and wanted to start with $500. Pb tickets and everyone told me not to waste my money! $5000. wont improve your odds on this game so what is $500. going to do??? I th

Going after 100m Powerball Jackpot?
I agree, KPaul, I don't turn my nose up at a million either. Doesn't make sense to me to wait til the pot hits a certain level because your odds ain't gonna change no matter what the jackpot is. A million or a hundred million don't make me no nevermind nohow.

How many people just buy one ticket for MM and PB?
It seems we both agree that you can't win if you don't play. I'm not sure I agree with your friend about the odds not good for the JP to be won until it was at 50 million or more. I've read in the last few years of people winning with amounts like 25 million or so. In my state of Mass last year in the last few years have heard of 2 different guys who had won 32 million and 25 million (or some amount like that) on either PB or MM can't remember. For years I would wait until the jackpot got pretty

Going after 100m Powerball Jackpot?
You know what the MM jackpot was when the roll that took it to $656 million started? If the $100 million PB gets hit tomorrow there will still be a chance before long at $150 or $200 million. The real decision is what average jackpot you want all of your chances to be for. By playing every drawing you lower the average amount you're trying to win. With odds of $175 million to 1 it takes an average of 175 million tickets for each jackpot win. That means sales of $350 million, which (coincident

Which odds are better. Part 2.
You just might be right Chris, as far as odds go. A 1000 line bet ( $20. per line) would be a 10 to 1 chance of hitting $100k. Does that sound correct? If so they are paying out 50% of what they take in, which is the same *I thought) as they do on the scratchers.

Florida Lottery's repeat winners don't always come out ahead
Some may say The more often you play, the luckier you become. But I still believe the odds of winning the lottery make it a game of DESTINY. FATE. I reckon if we are to win the lottery, it was decided long before we were even born.

Algorithms for number selection?
I may be close to developing something like an algorithm but it's not as simple as A x B x C and it can involve up to 75%or more of the numbers in the regular lottery pool and it has to be recalculated after each drawing. The real advantage is in knowing the numbers and the range assigned to each position of the combinations. The winning combination will usually be in a group generated using these parameters which can be as large as one to two thousands combinations but picking a few combina

NY Sweet Millions
Everything you said in your post is correct. But it isnt just the people here at LP that dont like SM. It's the lottery playing public of entire state of New York that does not like the game. I think it's due to the low payouts for the lower tier prizes. Winning 500 bucks for having 5 numbers stinks. I think players are more inclined to play Win4 than SM. The odds there for a JP win are 10,000:1 with a payout of $5,000. Why did the state go so cheaply on SM lower tier payouts?? Maybe if
