$500 MILLION: Mega Millions sets all-time lottery jackpot record
I have plenty of money, and I do what I love for a living, and have for the last 25 years. You have no clue who I am. Sometimes brutal honesty hurts but I don't sugarcoat the truth. I am not the one posting in desperation of a jackpot like you and others are, and I am not overly-excited because I am not delusional. If I win it great, if not so what. I am simply trying to cushion the fall of those gullible enough to buy into the hype. Odds are the fall is going to be long. You know nothing about

Anyone have experience in buying the entire roll?
The $5 game here in Texas has 75 tickets on a roll. The roll should be unopen and not from the container. The store usually have a few hand full of rolls stocked away and one roll available in the container for individual ticket sale. - Ah, seem like there are more losing rolls than winning. I think it is best to buy individual tickest but at different store for better odds. Recently, I started with a $5 ticket and won $140. It was a slow accumulation of prizes, had to cash in the $5

$540 MILLION: Mega Millions buying frenzy sparks another jackpot increase
By Todd Northrop The United States perhaps the world has never witnessed a lottery-buying frenzy like we are seeing this week. Mega Millions tickets are being bought at such a rapid pace that the state lotteries in the Mega Millions consortium have raised the jackpot estimate for the second time in as many days. Early Wednesday morning, just after 1:00 am Eastern Time, USA Mega announced the new record Mega Millions jackpot of $476 million after nobody won in the Tuesday evening drawing

Thinking about buying 1.4 million MM tickets.
The machine would run out of paper like 1000 times. To the OP.....ummm do whatever you think you'll be able to live with the next day. Me personally....no snip ing way am I cleaning out my bank account to play the lotto. I don't care how much the jackpot was. The odds are just not in your favor....even with 1.4 million tickets and that's not even considering if you mistakenly repeat a combination or two. $500 MILLION: Mega Millions sets all-time lottery jackpot record
Wow, I really don't think anyone can say with absolute certainty. Perhaps use some of the old strategies to improve your odds. Keep your mouth shut! Probably not a good idea to tell anyone in the circle of family and friends, use extreme discression before telling the spouse. Claim by Revocable Living Trust if possible. The Trustee's name will be printed (Your Trust Attorney) but if they are good at what they do, they should be a nice brick wall for your identity. Cut them a fat Christmas

N.J. couple claims $70M Powerball jackpot
Idiots. The Powerball jackpot was a third the size of the Mega Millions, a ticket cost twice as much as a Mega Millions, and the odds of winning are now the same as Mega Millions. What kind of idiots buy Powerball lottery tickets in that situation? Oh yeah, people who won $70M doing it. Idiots.

I'd be so pissed...
So it only cost you $2 to learn what other people still haven't learned after giving $100s to so-called charities good-causes; many of those organizations support activities that donors would be totally at odds with. You have no control (and usually no knowledge) of what is done with the money once it leaves your hand. If people only knew where some of their scout-cookie money was going ... Some of the wealthiest people in the country run charities , churches , and other good-cause orga

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
