Floyd, Most of this discussion is about the false belief that more tickets increases the player's odds tremendously. It just isn't the case and the results prove it over and over most drawings.

After taking the month of February off due to so many losing tickets in the Orlando area, today I decided to pop in Publix and pick up a good selection. I bought 2 of the $5 $250,000 Cash Payment , 2 of the $5 Diamond 7s, 2 of the $10 Florida Lottery Black, 2 of the $20 Gold Rush Tripler and 2 of the $20 Billion Blockbuster. All 10 tickets losers. Lost $120. Florida Lottery still flooding the state with too many losing tickets. Playing the scratchers with the best odds is useless as they are

Thank you! I thought the winnings were strange when I scratched the top line off...it was $70 then $21 then $12 then $7....looked like something was wrong. I'm so glad you asked that question, I don't think I would have looked...I went to take a look at the odds and for that type of win, it's 1 in 20,000 WTH!? lmao!

This should be pinned somewhere in this forum: It's just that those odds are so infinitesimal (roughly six ten-millionths of one percent on a single play) as to not make a difference. Can we say this coms down to the old business adage of Are you buying or selling? Good Luck all

Exactly, mediabrat. My point all along has been that there are those who think with enough $ they could just keep halving the odds until they did have a slam dunk.......and the lottieries love it.

The more different things you track the more you can narrow down your numbers to play. It will also help you see whats hot and cold or due. Sometimes things will contradict each other a little, but with time you will get a feel for it. Don't be afraid to experiment.
