Nobody has won Decades of Dollars
None of the state websites give the actual volume of play, but since the odds are 7.1 to 1 against matching 2 numbers, we can estimate it by the number of free ticket matches. In Ky it was 6676 so a ball park estimate is 47,400 tickets sold which is only 0.44% of all the possible 10,737,573 combos. It's highly unlikely any jackpot will be hit when less than 1% of the combos are sold.

Playing the lottery on a weekly basis is insane regardless of the jackpot size
yeah the odds of winning the pot are better if you buy 52 tickets in 1 draw than 1 ticket in 52 draws. but who wants to wait for 1 draw a year., its the many little dreams ea week that keep people happy. personally i dont know what draw im meant to win, so i play em all.,

JP games are too hard to win. I stick with p-3. people always say someone wins most of the time, but many many losing tickets, millions, for one person to win. in powerball you have same odds as getting hit with meteor. I will buy california fantasy five maybe twice a month for a dollar each time, and that;s it. if you sit around all day long dreaming that winning a jp will get you out of your miserable rut, then you need head examined. Then it becomes an obsession and no longer fun to play.

The last Midday doubles ......the ones marked in BOLD......are NO Digit Return Doubles 11 of the 17 were no digit return doubles. --- 101 559 585 717 944 311 005 474 909 696 669 115 844 343 066 700 993 So ? In your opinion.... do you think we should always play a digit will return on the next double from the LAST double ......or not? Which way cuts our odds down the most.....? Playing with or with out digits from the last double ......to the next double?

A Poor Man Does Not Have A Chance??
The odds of winning a MM Jackpot in Compton or any other poor impoverished neighborhood are probably 100 TRILLION to 1...TRUE FACT!!! While in Newport Beach, CA i've actually had a few good wins playing there no Jackpot but extremely close... Just my 2cents.

Dropping out of lottery pool costs teacher millions
Yep, good point. You are right about playing a lot of lines and the odds are still the same where it takes only one line to win. In the case of this person dropping out the rest of the players did not need his pool portion to buy more lines. They won on what they purchased.
