Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
Don't you guys think it's time for you to put aside your personal animosities and get back to the question at hand? Personally, I'd appreciate some constructive comments regarding the role of 'substitution' as it applies to lottery strategies. If the odds of this or that happening for everything is the general rule, then we should just mail a check to our state lottery and go watch TV. If, on the other hand, there is good reason to believe that, despite the odds, there are w

North Carolina's Latest Pre/Post draw list
INTEGRITY right???????? I will do some research with other lotteries to see how many pre/post test draws they do. So when I get back with NCEL, I want to see how they respond to that cause I know other states don't do that many. Also, with the comment about patterns.........makes me wonder is the drawings are live or pre-recorded, if they can draw again when they see patterns of concerns........hummmmmmmm........INTEGRITY!!!!!!!!! NOT...... Then, also to me to decrease the odds of peo

powerball prediction
For some reason I cannot edit the post I just made above. Anyway, you can go ahead and pick a number in the 20's as your low number, far be it for me to tell anyone what to do, but DO be careful not to fall in love with a certain set of numbers, and don't fall in love with RB #28. You need to concentrate on what the best ODDS are, and not try to pick an anomaly (something that rarely happens). Picking that RARE number might get you one number, but you need all six to win. I could give you

powerball prediction
I know your post is a bit old, but it's pretty rare to see the lowest WB be a number in the 20's. Yes, it has been happening a bit more as of late, but when you look at historical numbers, it doesn't happen enough to sway my odds to play a set like that: too many times that does NOT happen. Folks, instead of picking numbers, pick POSITIONS, and whatever number happens to be in that POSITION, you play it. I am probably the only person here that has won more that I have lost playing the l

Since there's a few threads about raffles...
Why do the states only pay out 50% of the odds in P-3 and P-4? Simple greed..... Just like big games too, why should they be able to tax the JP? They're already making tons of money.... This is why I strongly prefer playing online. 90% is a much better payout in the P-3 and P-4.

Post Your Winning Tickets Here
Got a roll of Green Gold today. Scratched them off and saved the winners to scratch off later. All the while I hit a GOLD BAR symbol so I saved that as my last ticket to reveal. The other 14 winners were the typical $5 - $20 winners for $140 total. So I was expecting $50 - $100 from this last ticket. Started by scratching off the amount under the symbol and nearly passed out !! And keep in mind I STILL have not hit $500 this year !! $4,000 Ticket #023 was the one that won $20 so back

If you had 10 bucks to bet...
It is all about time. You can buy 1000 Pick 3 Tickets for one draw or you can buy 1000 and play for 1000 draws (quite a long time). One of them your going to win. The other you have the chance of winning 1000 times....or never. lol. To increase odds you always bet more on a single game. Even though each ticket has the same single chance of winning (1:1000) your chances have increased because you hold more than one ticket. I guess that was a logical deduction. I don't know how to write o

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
This whole discussion is becoming laughable. Laughable or entertaining, what the difference as long as everyone is having fun? It will turn out that there are many methods of picking lottery combinations but picking one that wins a jackpot is not easy and any advantage that one might have over the others is negligible to the average player since the odds of winning are so great. System players will continue to play combinations picked their special way because it's the only thing they can

Part annuity Part cash
Stack has it exactly right. You can always buy your own annuity so that you can continue to collect annual (or quarterly) payments in an effort to control your spending. Unfortunately you can also borrow against the annuity or sell it outright to get cash now. You can do all sorts of things to protect yourself from others and from the economy, but lottery winners are almost always their own worst enemies. As for the idea of buying two tickets in order to split the winnings between cash and an
