US House votes to kill Internet gambling
Good to hear that. I was afraid that the government might have threatened to shut you down, too.
The government we have now is worse than anything the British oppressed us with in 1776. We currently pay 40% of our income to state, local and federal entities. We can't afford gasoline, we can't afford food for our children and we are under constant scrutiny by the rising security state. If the American people don't stand up and condemn this current regime, we should apologize t

I downloaded Lotto Sorcerer SE, it`s clean. This version doesn`t allow for manual data entry so that answers my problem.

Why It Is Important to Remain Anonymous.
Once again, you need to check with your state. The state of California will not keep your name secret. They will allow you to claim the prize in the name of the trust, but the trust must be a California trust. As far as the corporation or LLC, I would have to check, but I don't think they allow that in California. It has to be an individual and as far as the law is concerned a trust is an individual for most purposes but a corporation or LLC is not.
Actually, I think most of this discussi

if you won, how would you invest it?
Quote: Originally posted by spy153 on June 21, 2006 Thank you all for your replies. I see I am not the only one who has pondered this most important question more than once.
sir metro, you will be a millionaire with or without a lottery win.... if and when you begin investing your money. So, basically, I am right to consider mutual funds and small things like commodities? I want the absolute safest way to guarantee a growth over time. I don't want to have to continually keep check on it. Yell

Agent provacateurs
Jack: Those are all very interesting and perfectly valid thoughts. You raise some thoughtful questions, and I would love to hear what others have to say on this topic. In a perfect world, people from the state lotteries would make themselves heard on this issue, if only to comfort those who feel they are too distant and mysterious.
lottolaughs: Are you suggesting that the lotteries somehow pre-determine which numbers are going to be drawn? I suppose if you want to think in terms of what is

Protecting your numbers
There would be no way to retire off of 1/10 of $20 million though, and what's the point of winning a PB/MM jackpot if you still aren't financially independent? ryanm
I guess we live in different worlds. First of all, if I won $2 million I'd be ecstatic. Is there really a single person on this board who wouldn't be jumping up and down with joy if he/she won all that money? If you currently work 40-50 hours a week and make $50,000, a million dollars cash is 20 times your annual salary wit

Beware Lottery Scam!
Just invest $70 a year and get a good security system (I use Norton's) that automately updates warfare for new viruses, spyware and spam and disables all pictures in e-mails, scan all incoming and outgoing e-mails and set up an automated scan once a week and when new viruses are created everyday it automately update the defense.
You can use the computer and do other stuff while it is scanning. It set the rules for all programs on your computer and it prohibits everything that try to access

Can Employees Cheat?
If you do a search thru some of the past articles here on LP, you will find a variety of news stories that relate similiar to what you indicated. That is why, in several states, it is illegal for the worker to play a ticket from the store they work at. The conceptual idea is, if they Employee can not buy the ticket there, they can not cheat the system. Of course, we all know how well conceptual works in reality. Simply put, no matter how good the security system, it will only deter the honest.
