Florida Lottery holding back winning scratchers?
I give up on the Florida Lottery scratchers for a while. They are simply ripping off the players right now. This morning at Publix I bought 1 Billion Blockbuster, 1 Gold Rush and 1 Monopoly. Again all losers. For the week I lost $240 all from buying $20 scratchers with the best odds. Not 1 ticket even brought even all week. I will wait until I start hearing of people actually winning something before I begin again. Good luck everyone

Number of odd combinations in a 5/39 game
Once again, thank you very much! I'm curious as to why you stopped multiplying after using 8 in thr front half of the equation. Since there are 5 numbers picked, why wouldnt you stop after using 9? If it's too complicated or complex to easily explain in a post, then that's fine.... I'm simply curious and I dont have a burning need to know! BTW, prior to posting here, I Googled calculating lottery odds , and I got quite a few hits. Some sites even have built-in calculators that will do the

Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $133M sold in Calif.
O.K. the stats in here show 1 in 175,711,536 spread over 41 states. That is just to win the big mega jack pot; the stats show that 3,904,701 to 1 for getting five numbers and not hitting the mega .Other stats show for Super Lotto plus in California are 41,416,353 to 1 for hitting all five plus the mega, and 1,592,937 to 1 hitting all five without the mega. Pretty high odds and that should reflect the numbers of winners per the most densely populated areas and the areas that have the highs amount

Has anyone tried How to play and win the pick 3 Lottery ?
And what system might that be? You have to give us more clues than that (without giving the system author a free ad, no link) who's sytem, what's it called so anyone interested can google it. Post might do better in the Systems Forum or Pick-3 Forum. If on the odd chance you are asking about the 2in8 system, it has a certain degree of efficacy when built around a hot number from the game and a set is used with at least one all high digit number. For those who must make a Straight/box play

Fooled by Randomness
truecritic, OK. Thanks for the clarification. Stack47 apparently wasn't in error on THAT particular point. Semantics can be a problem. I think my way of differentiating between Odds and Payoff Amounts avoids these pitfalls, but to each his own. Besides, that misunderstanding does not detract from any of the other comments I made. I'm getting ready to throw in the towel here. The Gambler's Fallacy reigns supreme! All I can hope for is that a majority of the several thousand [estimate] people w

Florida Lottery holding back winning scratchers?
I saw that on the FL lottery website B$Rizzle... right in my neck of the woods lol. Gonna try a ticket from Bonita Springs tomorrow. You would think there is a 200 Million Spectacular top prize in circulation.... it is so overdue. I stay away from that one though... never won a dime on it. I like your strategy of buying 1 Gold Rush and 1 Blockbuster Wb. You have better odds of winning your money back/ makin a little change on the Rush and the chance of hitting it big with the Blockbuster

Scratch Off Strategy
If your playing the odds, I would say buy from another roll and try to hit one of the bigger prizes. I've won $100 on a $2 scratch off and thought the same thing as you... I ended up running back to the store and was fortunate enough to hit $100 again from one of the five tickets I bought. Trust your gut feeling, if your feelin lucky.. buyout the remaining tickets .. if not.. buy a few from a new roll. Best of luck to you and nice hit!

Why the State Lottery Manipulates what plays on Pick3: There is no TRIADS
The average roll of triples is 80 to 120 days give or take a few days but the can come in within days of each other. The payout on pick 3 is fixed in most states at 500 dollars for 1 dollar bet. Why should triples pay more just because there triples. Triples are a three digit number just like all the rest odds being 1 in 1000

Random Observations & Things To Ponder
Many of the same systems are sold with different packaging. The same system may be called Triangle, Pyramid, Delta or something else but it's the same thing. _____________________________________ People who approach something like lottey jackpot games where the odds are in the millions tens of millions, and hunydres of millions against the player are with the expectation of winning the easiest ones to sell systems to.
