Florida Lottery holding back winning scratchers?
Stopped by a different Publix to buy some tickets today. After a bad week I thought I would buy a few extra tonight and as always only buying tickets with the best odds (according to the FLA Lottery site).
I bought 2 Gold Rush $20, 2 Monopoly $20 and 2 Billion Blockbuster $20.
Both Gold Rush losers. 1 Monopoly won $20, the other loser. 1 Billion Blockbuster won $40, the other loser. Net loss of $60
The trend of not winning any decent amounts continues.

You're bouncing around this topic more than the numbered ping pong balls used for the drawings. By taking out your non-topic and non-lottery related responses, there isn't much to respond to.
all i stated was my example of levity provides some people a better perspective on the chasing aspect of the lottery.
What is so funny about buying 10 QPs and after seeing the results, finding out they didn't even match 1 number?
The same can be said about systems players who spend hours, days,

Florida Lottery holding back winning scratchers?
I have won on all 4 tickets in a row from the same roll and then again I bought 4 in a row off a roll and lost all of them. It is so random there is no way to tell.
Last night results. Bought 1 Monopoly $20, 1 Blockbuster $20, 1 Gold Rush $20 and 1 Lucky for Life 100,000 $10. Monopoly won $25 back all others losers. Net loss for the day $45
I gave up on the football $5 scratchers almost all losers, no where near making the odds they claim exist.

Best Florida Scratch Offs
You are correct... Gold Rush is the ticket that had the misprints. This has happened twice I think. The printing company obviously didn't complete quality control efforts after the first mistake. I hope they have fixed the issue. With that said I play for smaller amounts... There's nothing like scratching off that gold bar for $500... Though I'm sure I would be even more excited if I scratched off the $500K jackpot. I would just make sure that the numbers (and letter below the number and prize)

i don't play any other game than a JP game, and even then i only buy 1QP
as far as even the pick3, with the lowest odds available, thereby making it easier to crack, still after being in here 8 years, i have yet to witness anyone that can actually work this edge everyone talks about.
i see people say they can all the time.........never personally witnessed them actually doing it.
im just sayin....

No doubt, and you're welcome.
We realized $2.7 million more than last year in unclaimed prizes for the KEES scholarship reserve fund and significantly improved management of instant ticket prize expense.
Well I've read that about five times now... huh. That's impressive, I suppose... I know for a fact all the scratch offs I tossed in the trash were loosers, surely...

12,000 plus views, and not one person can demonstrate even making a consistent profit.
Throwing that condition into the mix changed the thread. A check of jackpot games would reveal that even combinations that eventually win a jackpot have only returned 10% of what it cost to play up to that point. Even pick5 games with better odds and payouts for smaller matches aren't much better with their winning combinations returning 20% of what it cost to play before winning the top prize.

GEoooooRGIA FIVE...HOTT!!
I could not have said it better myself. The payouts for this game are completely disgusting. The Georgia Lottery should be ashamed of itself for having the payouts that it has for this game. Having said that, here's how I would have done things:
- Straight match for all 5 digits: $50,000 (with the minimum prize for Fantasy 5 moved up to $100,000)
- Box match for all 5 digits: half of the odds. Same with first / last three and first / last four.

GEoooooRGIA FIVE...HOTT!!
The game is a ripoff.
100,000:1 pays $10,000 that is a 10:1 odds to payoff ratio when cash 4 is 2:1 and cash 3 is 2:1
The first 4 or last 4 only pay $225, that is $5000 in cash 4.
The first 3 or last 3 numbers only pay $20. That would pay $500 in cash 3.
