why is it better to play $5QP instead of $1QP,$2QP,$3QP, 0r $4QP at mega millions and powerball?
People playing 5 tickets have 5 times more chances to win than people playing 1 ticket. The odds are still terrible for both players, but I suspect the extra chances do give the $5 player a better shot at it. Remember how Jack Whittaker won? He bought a $2 hot dog with a $100 bill, and used the $98 in change for 98 Powerball tickets. I'm not saying everyone should buy 98 tickets, but he did win. Edit: To be fair, I've posted a lot of news stories about people winning on a single quick pick

Mega Millions And Powerball Quick Pick Secret
If the maximum number of combinations (QP or other) that can be printed on one ticket is 10, you're just stating the obvious. The odds of winning anything and the cost is exactly the same whether you buy 10 $1 QPs on 10 different tickets or buy 10 QPs on one ticket. But there is one little problem, whenever you play $10QP either for mega millions or powerball the store clerk might press the #5 button twice and generate two $5QPs tickets going from A,B,C,D,E INSTEAD of going all the way troug

$266 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised again
I was driving up to DC area from FL, and I kept on seeing billboards that advertised the $266million jackpot... I was able to resist buying in Georgia, but once I stopped for gas in NC, I couldnt resist. Since I play the lotto like twice a year, I decided to spend exactly $100 on QP. So hopefully with my 100 tickets (10 lines on each ticket) I can win one of this and do what I love for the rest of my life (I'm only 23). But with the odds being insurmountable (1 out of like 170,000,000), i

The odds are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HIGH that you cannot count that high.....this isn't supposed to happen at least not in the real/honest world.... State lottos know how to get thier $$$$$ back not that they actually pay out that much to begin with... I'm starting to feel like I'm playing the NC lotto which BTW is notorious for that...

Do you put money aside??
yes, i usually spent at least $4 a week on mega millions and powerball. In new york we have 4 jackpot games. sweet millions, mega millions, powerball and new york lotto. i used to play $1 on each plus $2 for a powerball power play for a total of $6. on a weekly basis i was spending $12. but i realize that powerball and mega millions are better bets than sweet millions and ny lotto eventhough the odds to win are higher. i feel that mega millions and powerball offer better prizes overall and i also

Anyone play craps?
I do mean come bets. Playing the don't pass line allows you to place come bets on almost every roll. Have you ever played the don't pass line? Come bets are placed before the dice is rolled, and they don't go on any number. They are moved to a number after the number is set by the roller. Then you can place odds behind the number. I know a thing or two about craps!
