QPs are the opiate of the masses! The QPs are kinda like voting for the 'hip' candidate. Society is so rushed and hurried they don't have time to make informed decisions so they go for the QP. The lottery marketers know this, Obama is like a quick pick........ a 'losing ticket', just like most QPs. Since most tickets sold are QPs they are the biggest losers and the greatest profit for the 'State'. If people were forced to think about the numbers they were going to play and there was no QP option

The idea is for people anywhere to play those numbers and the predictor benefits when somebody gives them a thank you even though the prediction was not state specific and some of these predictors may expect a monetary gratuity. I agree pcurtis. Unfortunately they know that scratchers are the hottest thing in the lottery and they're going to gouge the hell out of us until we stop playing them. They'd give us better prizes and odds if we demanded it but they know people will never stick together and demand it by not playing.

I have been thinking --wouldn't a jackpot random picker be better if you already knew what category to play like 2 odd 3even because a file of just those numbers would much smaller then using a file of all possible combinations. I don't believe it would effect the randomness of set selection by RNG. Still odds will be high but much smaller then original. HAWK
