I have not remembered to read up on the jackpot reward recently so thank you for this information. This really makes me hate the jackpot portion more now and hope to be part of the second place raffle winners.

Reddbrim, I went back and read your posts in this thread. I am like you in that I like the wealth being spread around! Whenever there is a mega-large jackpot I always hope for multiple winners. I think the point LottoMetro was making earlier, which is 100% valid, is that it was highly improbable for this to happen in Week 3. In fact, statistically it probably should not have happened until month 3! In the first 3 drawings, there have been 0 second-prize (5+0) winners and only 11 tickets hitting

More individuals win because more individuals play. I personally don't participate in a pool but it would be great for wheeling. It's irrelevant that you share the prize because the return to player over time is exactly the same, i.e. winning $200,000 for putting 1 ticket in the pool instead of $1,000,000 for playing 5 tickets alone. It's like playing in a raffle. If you want to rely purely on luck like I do then how you play doesn't matter.....only that you play

Sorry OldSchoolPa. I'm starting to hate them too. The first one I was really excited about the odds and spent about $100 on it. And I lost. I already quit playing the ones they do throughout the year, but I still buy a ticket or two for the year-end raffle. Although, this just might have been the last year I do that. I'll have to think about it, but the way I feel after losing AGAIN this year is that I'll only buy a ticket next winter if I'm feeling flush. Good luck to you in March.

Slogan, mantra, what have you, I like to use it as a grapevine tag. Oh and I forgot to mention a World Millions ($10) concept they are considering which would allow lottery players to play 5 national jackpot games on one ticket regardless of nationality (potentially includes second-chance raffle). So U.S. residents could participate in EuroMillions, Oz Lotto, etc and vice versa. You heard it here first!

Thanks Skeptic, Here is something that's been working for me lately with FF. I purchase only 3 (One of every color) for some reason i seem to do best with the Pink ones, then green and Finally Gold. I Play mostly FF since In my area GRT S*cks. I made some good money on the $20 mono when it first came out, but I will not purchase more than 2 or 3 of these as I have been grilled in the past.
