Monopoly Millionaires game
/\/\/\ Alternatively, say the cash jackpot gets capped at $15,000,000 ($25 million annuity) Ouch, I remember reading something about the jackpot not confirmed as $25M cash or annuity. I have not remembered to read up on the jackpot reward recently so thank you for this information. This really makes me hate the jackpot portion more now and hope to be part of the second place raffle winners.

Monopoly Millionaires game
Reddbrim, I went back and read your posts in this thread. I am like you in that I like the wealth being spread around! Whenever there is a mega-large jackpot I always hope for multiple winners. I think the point LottoMetro was making earlier, which is 100% valid, is that it was highly improbable for this to happen in Week 3. In fact, statistically it probably should not have happened until month 3! In the first 3 drawings, there have been 0 second-prize (5+0) winners and only 11 tickets hitting

MONOPOLY Millionaires club
I've got my playslips too I also noticed the 4 panels and immediately thought, Yeah that's particularly convenient. By the way, the Millionaires' Club numbers thing is a ruse. I know that some people are going to be thinking things like there are patterns in the string of characters for picked tickets, but the truth is that the lottery will just pick winners like you would pick a regular raffle, i.e. the 423,322nd and 211,333rd ticket sold are winners. The club number is just another way of

Does joining a lottery pool " increase" your chances of winning the top prize?
More individuals win because more individuals play. I personally don't participate in a pool but it would be great for wheeling. It's irrelevant that you share the prize because the return to player over time is exactly the same, i.e. winning $200,000 for putting 1 ticket in the pool instead of $1,000,000 for playing 5 tickets alone. It's like playing in a raffle. If you want to rely purely on luck like I do then how you play doesn't matter.....only that you play

State Raffles
Sorry OldSchoolPa. I'm starting to hate them too. The first one I was really excited about the odds and spent about $100 on it. And I lost. I already quit playing the ones they do throughout the year, but I still buy a ticket or two for the year-end raffle. Although, this just might have been the last year I do that. I'll have to think about it, but the way I feel after losing AGAIN this year is that I'll only buy a ticket next winter if I'm feeling flush. Good luck to you in March.

$297 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot raised again before tonight's drawing
Slogan, mantra, what have you, I like to use it as a grapevine tag. Oh and I forgot to mention a World Millions ($10) concept they are considering which would allow lottery players to play 5 national jackpot games on one ticket regardless of nationality (potentially includes second-chance raffle). So U.S. residents could participate in EuroMillions, Oz Lotto, etc and vice versa. You heard it here first!

Thanks guys. My dad doesn't expect her to make it to her bday in March.. It is always tough, but alittle easier if the person is sufferering or you have an idea it is coming. I really feel for the people who lose loved ones in car accidents or unexpected incidents. James. About the 1st time thing. I got back in touch with someone I knew from high school. She had good timing that I really needed a friend to vent and vice versa. Well I decided to to send a small card and letter and include a $

Thanks Skeptic, Here is something that's been working for me lately with FF. I purchase only 3 (One of every color) for some reason i seem to do best with the Pink ones, then green and Finally Gold. I Play mostly FF since In my area GRT S*cks. I made some good money on the $20 mono when it first came out, but I will not purchase more than 2 or 3 of these as I have been grilled in the past. (IMO the Orange $20 was way better, more $500 Prizes.) and as we know the 100x is to win the big one, not g

$550 MILLION: Mega Millions holiday bonanza!
Todd: I don't play raffle, OK!? 'Cause I love me my millions! Hunderds of millions. (what i tried to say - and this is just one way to look at it - i would give up the 800 hunder million jackpot that I most likely will never win to take home 300 million dollars that I more likey to get. all of this is theoretical, the chances are so low that I won't win in any of the cases. But I am still buying the tickets. Twice a week, every week. Even if it is for 'only' $40 millions. Do I sound desper
