Hey LuckyPB, welcome to LP! There are all kinds of ideas and strategies on this site. BobP's Lotto Logix web site is good also. I think when playing jackpot games that trying different strategies is the best way to go. The odds are so high that no one strategy is going to work all the time. I personally try to play probabilities. For example, in Tx Lotto, 4 decades plays most often, (single, teen, 20's, 40's) out of 6 decades. So most of the time I play numbers from 4 decades, (not necessaril

50 cents on the dollar paid back in winnings
I'm pretty sure the question is clearly asking about what percentage of the ticket cost goes back to players as prizes. About 50% has been fairly standard, though some games pay a bit more. That's a convenient statistic, and I'll often say that your long term results will probably be losing half of your money, but that's an optimistic simplification. Smaller jackpot games may vary, but while PB and MM put about 50 cents on the dollar into the prize pool, almost 40 cents on the dollar goes tow

The Difference between Chances / Probability and Odds
You can improve your odds and chances of winning dramatically by purchasing one ticket. Probability of winning however, will still remain dismally low. One chance in 175 million is dramatically better than zero because zero is absolute. And speaking of Absolut, I think I'll have a Screwdriver right now.

What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
One thing I have learned, is that there is no one more blind than he or she who refuses to see! So even if we would demostrate this working system if your mind is already made up that it will not work, it will not!!! Those who believe in Luck! you are welcome to worship at her altar. Those of us who know that a system is the key to unlock and unluck the lottery winnings doors, will keep on working and fine tuning it; as it does we keep Increasing our Odds. I wish all big winnings!!

What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
Just because a number don't hit for two or three weeks don't mean it will hit that week You're right about that. Just because a number doesn't hit for 2 or 3 weeks doesn't mean it's due to hit this week. But that wasn't my argument. I'm talking about a set(combination) of numbers. For example, the set 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I'm not going to play the set 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 because the likeliness of it being drawn is incredibly low. As a result, I have just eliminated a single set of numbers! Congratu

What makes a Good Quick Pick??
As the PB and MM websites inform us, 70 to 80 % of ticket sales, and jackpot winning tickets are QPs. From that we can surmise that most jackpot winners haven't done any of the things being discussed here. It may be fun to do them, and if they could possibly produce winners it would be even more fun. If all that had to be overcome was something like the pointspreads and the vig in football (it takes 52.6% winners to come out even because the bet is 11 to win 10), that would be one thing.

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
You've picked a good time to return to playing the lotteries, especially if you now have the time to look at past drawing history and develop a system . With a little luck and the right numbers, you'll have the chance to win a great deal of money 4 days a week since many states will start selling both MegaMillions and PowerBall tickets at the end of the month. (Only in America) Every idea I've had has been put in this thread somewhere. Some of this thread most promising contributors stopped p

i cant go out without wanting to cuss at everyone either, but I dont have a disease, Im just grumpy. i think its tuorettes syndrome. its good to get to know you more pumpi. and although some of us may stir you , and others laugh. some will accept you as you are. take care and good luck. as to the insurance i think the incredible long odds and need to buy so many tickets to have a system that would work is all the insurance they use and need.
